1 Prof.Dr.iur.Haxhi Gashi Professor of civil Law/Property Law/Commercial Law Legal Advisor Experience Summary Mr. Gashi has experience in both teaching and training aspects. Since 2002 he is acting as Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law of the University of Prishtina and number of other Colleges. From 2011 he is a professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Pristine. From July 2015 he is elected Dean of Faculty of Law/University of Pristina. Mr. Gashi is specialized in property law (PhD) and security Credit Transactions by Mortgage and Pledge and other means of security (LLM) and civil law. He teaches students in the field of civil law-property law, contract law and civil procedure law. From 2011 he is co-teaching in property law and contact law with international professors from England and USA in the LLM program in Contracts and Commercial Law organized by USAID/SEAD in cooperation with Faculty of Law of the University of Pristine. He has been involved in training programs for new legislation in Kosovo organized by KIPA (Kosovo Institute for Public Administration) in cooperation with OSCE. He also has exercised his job as Trainer for training new trainers organized by Kosovo Law Center in Since 2011 he is a temporary trainer for training Kosovo Judges through Kosovo Judicial Institute on the Implantation of new civil laws (property law, contract law, civil law procedure) organized by OCSE in cooperation with Kosovo Judicial Institute. Mr. Gashi since October 2012 is member of the Professional Committee for Bar Exam for Civil Law. Mr. Haxhi Gashi has a significant experience in law, including drafting legislation, drafting sub-normative acts, amending legislation, implementation, training /teaching and advising in significant aspects of the legal issues. The law experiences include following fields: economic law (Business organization, trade, competition, tax, budgetary, socio-economic laws, privatization, security transaction Mortagage- Hipotheka, and related laws), civil law (contract law, property Law, inheritage and family law), civil procedure law (Law on dispute procedure, law on non-dispute procedure and the execution law) and related laws and sub-normative acts. Mr.Haxhi Gashi has a significant experience for economic laws sinc he used to work for USADI projects in support to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo from 2005-April He advised the Budget and Finance Committee, Committee of Legislation and the Committee for Economic Development. In particular he advised on review and amending specific economic and commercial laws including but not limited: Law on Public Finance and Accountability, Law on Banks, Law on Internal Audit, Law on Enterprises-Business organizations, Law on deposits, Law on Micro Finance, Law on Pledge Registration, Privatization Laws Law on Agency of Privatization, Law on Special Chamber Special Court, Law on reorganization of the Socially-owned enterprises and privatization etc. Within the scope of drafting legislation he has exercised his experience since 2003 when started to work In the Primeminister s Office of Kosovo as Senior Legal Officer. Since that time he had the opportunity to head a many working groups for drafting legislation under the Government level. The most of area of that legislation covered the subject matters form Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning. Since 2005 Mr. Gashi used to work in the Assembly of Kosovo as Legal Advisor with the purpose advising Assembly Committees, particularly Committee of Trade and Industry, Budget 1

2 Committee, Legislation Committee. He acts on the matters regarding amending legislation, drafting legislation and oversee the implementation. Mr Gashi, has experiences on the implementation of legislation and resolving disputes on the economic and civil law in the court perspective. He used to work in the Supreme Court of Kosovo form 2002 to 2003 as Judge Assistant Employment History Dean of Faculty of Law/University of Pristina July present - Management of the faculty of Law - Other issues regarding managing and overseen process of high education in the Faculty and related to the level of University Professor, Faculty of Law /University of Pristina ( 2011-present) Mr. Gashi acts as a Professor with following tasks: Teaching students in property law, contract law, and civil procedure law. Tasks have included: advising Committee of Trade and Industry, Budget Committee, Legislation Committee on the issues as follows: drafting legislation amending legislation advising for other legal issues regarding to built and improve the implementation of legislation supporting in other tasks related to issues mentioned above American Chamber of Commerce/ member of the Steering Council of the AmCham Kosovo's Alternative Dispute Resolution Center.
