1 P R O S P E C T U S FOR ADMISSION TO LL.B. THREE YEARS SEMESTER COURSE. The Instructions & Information s given below should be followed scrupulously. 1. Date of issue of Application: Last date of receipt of application forms: Within 14 days, from the date of publication of Berhampur University degree Examination results or from the date of reopening of Ganjam Law College, whichever is later. 3. No. of seat s: College working hours: 07 : 30 A.M. To 02: 00 P. M. ADMISSION A) Admission to the above mentioned course is governed by the provision of Berhampur University Regulation & Bar Council of India. B) A candidate whose conduct & character are not satisfactory shall not be considered for admission. ELIGIBILTY FOR ADMISSION A. Any candidate who has passed Bachelor degree/ Master Degree of Berhampur University in any discipline or a Bachelor/ Master Degree of any other University considered as equivalent there to by Berhampur University shall be eligible for admission to the three years LL.B. semester Course. B. A candidate who fulfils the above requirement shall have obtained not less than 45% of aggregate marks in case of General category and 40% of aggregate marks in case of S.C & ST Category.

2 DURATION OF PROGRAMME: The duration of the course shall be of three academic years consisting of six semesters (each year two semesters). EXAMINATION PROCESS The Semester Examinations will be conducted by Berhampur University. The first, third and fifth semester examination will be held in the month of November and second, fourth and sixth semester examinations in the month of April. 3 Common Provisions for 3 Years LL.B. Courses. (The following fees are subject to change every year as per the direction, if any) Students have to pay the following fees as per the direction of Bar Council of India & Berhampur University. 1. Bar Council of India Uniform Identity Member Fee Rs. 350/- 2. Red Cross Rs. 40/- 3. University Cultural Fees Rs. 50/- 4. University Sports Fees Rs. 100/- 5. Computerized Identity Card Fee Rs. 100/- 6. Study Tour (Within Odisha) Rs. 300/- 7. Seminar & Moot Court (Function) Rs. 300/- 8. Puja Rs. 100/- 9. Transport Rs. 500/- 10. Development of Library Rs. 500/- 11. Insurance Rs. 55/- 12. NSS Rs. 10/- REQUEST FOR APPLICATION FORM: Application forms for admission can be obtained on working days from the Ganjam Law College office counter by the candidate in person on payment of Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only). The candidates who are applying for admission by downloading the application form shall have to deposit the amount of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only) through crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of SECRETARY, GANJAM LAW COLLEGE, BERHAMPUR, payable at I. O. B., Gajapati branch, Berhampur, Odisha. Application forms can also be obtained by post on payment of Rs. 350/- (Rupees Three Hundred Fifty Only) through crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of Secretary, Ganjam Law College, Berhampur, payable at I. O. B., Gajapati branch, Berhampur, Odisha. Postal Orders shall not be accepted under any circumstances.

4 NOTE: THOSE WHO ARE NOT FULFILLING THE ATTENDANCE PERCENTAGE AS PER THE RULES OF B.C.I. AND BERHAMPUR UNIVERSITY, THEY HAVE TO DEPOSIT Rs. 500/- FOR EXTRA CLASSES AND ALSO REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE. THE CANDIDATE SHOULD SUBMIT THE DOCUMENTS ALONGWITH APPLICATION FORM AS MENTIONED IN THE APPLICATION FORM & INTIMATION LETTER. MEDIUM: The medium of Instruction and examination shall be in English. RESERVATION AND CONCESSIONS: Seats are reserved for Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Handicapped as per Berhampur University and Govt. rules. For S.C. and S.T. category necessary certificate should be produced by the candidate from a revenue officer of his locality not below the rank of Tahsildar and for physically handicapped the certificate should be produced from not below the rank of C.D.M.O. / Professor. ACADEMIC AND OTHER FACILITIES PROVIDED BY THE INSTITUTION. FACULTIES The institute has qualified scholars, experienced and skilled faculties in different fields on which teaching is imparted. The institute also invites eminent professors and professionals from many reputed institutes and the judiciary to deliver lectures.

5 LIBRARY The library at present is having more than 4000 selected books with adequate number of copies and journals like A. I. R., BAR COUNCIL REVIEW, C.L.T., and OTHER RELEVANT JOURNALS. TRANSPORT The institute has made necessary arrangements of buses from New Bus Stand and Old bus Stand to the institute which will operate according to the scheduled time. HOSTEL The college will provide hostel facility to the boys and Rs. 50,000/- per year. The candidate has to apply separately for hostel facility at the time of admission with an advance payment of 50% of Hostel fees. EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES The Extra curricular activities include debates, quizzes and other literary and sports activities. MOOT COURT & SEMINAR The Moot Court competitions and Seminars are conducted in the college and students participate in State, National and International level Moot Court competitions and Seminars.
