10 Ways to start your academic studies Undergraduate Admissions There are three ways to begin your undergraduate studies at USF. With more than 85 bacheor s degrees, fexibe study pans and mutipe start dates throughout the year, we hep you find the path that s right for you. Direct Entry If you meet the specified anguage and academic criteria for your undergraduate degree, you may appy directy to USF. Get started on page 50. 11 Graduate Admissions USF offers 104 master s and speciaist programs, 48 doctora programs and severa dua degree programs. You have three paths to begin earning your graduate degree. Direct Entry If you meet the specified anguage and academic criteria you may appy directy to your graduate degree program at USF. A 4-year bacheor s degree with a minimum.0 out of 4.0 GPA equivaency (A internationa transcripts require an evauation from a foreign transcript evauation service) TOEFL 79+ ibt or or taken within ast 2 years or Competion of Academic Engish Leve 6* GRE scores (or GMAT scores for programs in Business) received within the ast 5 years (minimum scores needed depend on the graduate entry requirements of the program to which the student appies) In addition, the graduate programs may have other requirements with which appicants must compy * Not a graduate programs at USF accept Leve 6 competion. Note: USF is competitive and meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission. In the case of research based programs, admissions decisions aso may be based on the suitabiity of the appicant s research interests, and the avaiabiity of professors in a particuar fied of research. Graduate Pathway Program Our Graduate Pathway program aows you to begin earning credits toward your degree even if you do not meet the direct entry requirements. The program wi hep buid the academic foundation, essentia Engish anguage skis and GRE test preparation to ensure your success in graduate-eve studies at USF. You receive the highest eve of support with dedicated academic advisors throughout your program. We offer a 1-Semester and 2-Semester option, depending on your Engish anguage eve. Undergraduate degree comparabe to a 4-year US bacheor s degree with 2.5 GPA or or or IELTS (A subscores minimum 5.0) or or Competion of Academic Engish Leve 5 or Password Test Leve 6 GRE and GMAT GRE or GMAT are not required to enter Graduate Pathway programs but are required to progress to some graduate degree programs. A students who are entering a program that requires a score wi be required to submit a baseine GMAT/GRE score upon arriva. This can be unofficia. If you do not have a score to present, you wi take an unofficia test during Orientation. These test resuts wi be stricty for advising purposes. You wi receive over 40 hours of GRE or GMAT preparation whie studying in the Pathway program. If you aready have the required GMAT or GRE score before joining the Pathway, you do not need to join test preparation casses. Engish Language Program Our Academic Engish program is designed to improve your Engish and prepare you for university studies.
