12 ADMISSIONS Timeline & Considerations Timeframe: Students apply in January of 2 nd year for entrance in fall of 3 rd year Considerations are Many and Holistic: Completion of prerequisite courses GPA cumulative, quantitative Course load, course difficulty, course selection Leadership, activities, work experience Oral and written communication skills Application Review: Committee of 4 faculty read and review each applicant Students notified in March: accept, defer or deny Deferred students notified in May

14 ADMISSIONS Commerce Prerequisites Students must complete 54 credits before entering the School, including: COMM 1800: Foundations of Commerce 1 st year L Z = Fall A K = Spring First Writing Requirement (ENWR) 1 st year A K = Fall L Z = Spring MATH 1210: A Survey of Calculus I (or higher) 1 st year STAT 1120 (4 on AP) or 2120: Statistical Analysis 1 st year Humanities (3 hours, in addition to ENWR) 1 st or 2 nd year Foreign Language through 2020 level 1 st or 2 nd year ECON 2010 and 2020: Principles of Economics 1 st or 2 nd year COMM 2010 and 2020: Introductory Accounting 2 nd year Quantitative Prerequisite Course
