It will be given consideration upon receipt of a copy of your transcript/s, determination of state certification eligibility, three of our professional reference forms, and other supporting documents. Please note: The transcript of your college credits must indicate grades received. We must receive a copy for each college you attended. An unofficial copy is adequate for processing your application, however, an official transcript is required upon employment. The reference forms must be mailed directly to our by the writers of the references. To help us determine your Maryland State Department of Education certification status, you should provide us with a copy of your latest Maryland certification and/or any other documentation or correspondence with the State Department. We also need a copy of your National Teachers' Examination and/or PRAXIS scores. If you have any questions concerning your certification or qualifications, please contact the Maryland State Department of Education at It takes approximately four weeks for an application to be processed. You will receive a postcard informing you that processing has been completed and your application is active. Your application will then be forwarded to a Personnel Specialist for screening and possible referral to school administrators. Selected applicants will be contacted for interviews. Your application stays active until October 1st. If you wish to be considered for employment after that date, you must: Send us a letter by October 1st requesting that your application be kept active. Inform us of any change in address or phone number. Enclose an updated resume. Enclose any new supporting documentation for certification. If we do not receive a letter by October 1st, your application will be kept with our inactive files for two years.
