10 Open to any nationality, researchers to be funded in Mobility between countries is required (or has happened recently), and mobility to/from academia/non-academia is often a key component

11 Open to researchers at all career stages and for flexible funding periods Strong accent on participation of nonacademic organisations Businesses (including SMEs), private research centers, public administration, hospitals, non-profit or charitable organisations (NGOs, trusts, foundations), cultural institutions (museums etc.), etc.

12 Associated Countries Turkey = associated to Horizon 2020 Association to Horizon 2020 is governed by Article 7 of the Horizon 2020 Regulation and takes place through the conclusion of an International Agreement. Organisations from Associated Countries can participate and receive funding under the same conditions as those from the European Union Member States.

17 Example: ETexWeld - Welding of E-textiles for Interactive Clothing This EU-funded project is looking at ways of improving manufacturing techniques required by so-called e-textiles. The results could lead to a new generation of smart clothing and footwear that can monitor a person s health, activity and location.
