1 INTERNATIONAL MASTER OF LAWS APPLICATION Application for Admission to the International Master of Laws Program Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, Makati City, Philippines Academic Year The Ateneo Law School s International Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program is offered to both national and international legal scholars who hold law degrees and intend to pursue legal research and scholarship with a strong international orientation. For foreign applicants, in addition to the foregoing requirements, the following are also required: a. Official TOEFL or IELTS score report (or equivalent) b. Duly authenticated visa requirements IX. Three (3) recent photo, red background (2 x 2) X. Application Fee of P2, (or US $ for foreign applicants) Instructions: All sections of the application form must be typewritten or written legibly. Submit the completed application form together with the appropriate supporting documents as required above, and pay the non-refundable application fee. This fee is not part of tuition or other fees. Your application will not be processed unless ALL requirements are submitted. Applications sent via fax will not be accepted. 8 ENGLISH PROFICIENCY EXAMINATION REQUIREMENT WAIVER REQUEST FORM The current regulations of Ateneo Law School states that applicants who fall into either one of the listed categories below can waive English proficiency examination requirement. 1) Applicants whose first language is English 2) Applicants who completed their law education with English as medium of instruction. A certificate from the school stating that English is the medium of instruction must be submitted. If you do not fall into either of the above categories, but feel that you have the equivalent English proficiency level of those listed above based on your educational background or work experience, you may request a waiver using this form. Please note that your claim for waiver is subject to verification of all the information you have provided. The LL.M.
