School as a living environment 4.1 To ensure the implementation of the ministerial orientations relating to healthy life style habits, violence in the schools, the promotion of health and well-being, and prevention Number of schools: - that offer conditions conducive to a healthy diet and a physically active lifestyle - equipped with a strategy to prevent and deal with violence - that institute promotion and prevention measures consistent with the Healthy Schools approach - that have a sex education strategy 4.2 To ensure that students are accompanied in a structured and ongoing manner in their academic and career paths Number of schools that have instituted measures to accompany students from the end of elementary school to the end of secondary school 4.3 To review ministerial frameworks with a view to improving school daycare services Number of school daycare services equipped with a program of activities consistent with the needs and characteristics of the students 2. The quality of infrastructures 4.4 To improve the quality of infrastructures in the education system, including sports infrastructures For school boards, number of funded projects and amounts allocated to reduce the deficit in building maintenance For universities, amount allocated per square metre to curb the maintenance deficit for spaces devoted to research and teaching For CEGEPs, amount allocated per square metre to curb the maintenance deficit Number of sports infrastructures funded and the scope of government support 3.
