1 BW Core Curriculum Guide for Cuyahoga Community College students University is transitioning to a new Core Curriculum effective for transfer students enrolling at BW beginning Fall Semester This guide is designed to help students select courses that will meet Core requirements at BW. Any Core areas not completed at may be completed at BW as part of the bachelor degree requirements. Note for A2BW Transfer Students This guide is intended for students who are not earning an associate s degree and want to take courses that meet the Core Curriculum at University. The Associate to Bachelor (A2BW) program allows students with an approved associate degree to complete a reduced Core at. A2BW students do not need to meet all areas outlined below, but must have completed 24 credits selected from these Core areas, which should include the math and English composition requirements. To learn more about A2BW, talk with a BW transfer counselor at admission@bw.edu or Mathematics BW students must take the equivalent of BW s MTH-135 or higher depending on major and minor. If math is not transferred to BW, students should complete their math core requirement during their first two semesters at BW. This also applies for A2BW students. If the composition requirement is not transferred to BW, it should be completed within the first 3 semesters at BW. This also applies for A2BW students. Take 3 approved International core-designated courses, with no more than 2 courses from the same department. Foreign language courses at the 100 level may not be applied to this option.
