1 ARCHITECTURE Candidates seeking admission into English Language, Architecture must have 5 credit Mathematics, Physics and any passes at the West African Senior one of Chemistry, Geography School Certificate Examination or Technical Drawing. (WASSCE) or NECO or GCE O/L or its equivalent at NOT more than two sittings in the following subjects: Mathematics and Physics; and two credits from Technical Drawing, Chemistry, Geography, Fine Arts and Economics. Candidates must have at least a pass in Chemistry. Architecture Holders of the National Diploma (OND) in Architecture or related disciplines with Upper Credit level pass, from NBTE accredited institutions may be considered for admission for Direct Entry provided they meet the minimum requirements as spelt out in (a) above. Candidates with the GCE A level passes in at least two subjects from Mathematics, Geography and Physics can also be considered for admission provided they meet the conditions in (a) above.

2 ESTATE MANAGEMENT Estate Management The entry requirements for the five year programme are five credits in WASSCE or NECO or GCE (O/ L) or equivalent at NOT more than two sittings. The credits should be in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and two others from Geography, Chemistry, Agricultural Science / Biology, Commerce, Government, and Technical Drawing. Candidate is expected to have at least a pass in Physics. UTME Subjects Mathematics, Economics and any other subject from Geography, Chemistry, Agricultural Science/Biology, Commerce, Government and Technical Drawing. Direct Entry Requirement Candidates may be admitted to the 200 level of the programme if they have any of the following in addition to the UME requirements specified in a above: (i) Advanced Level passes in Economics and at least, any one of Mathematics, Geography, Biology or Chemistry; OR (ii) OND in Estate Management or any field relevant to Environmental Planning, Design and Management with at least Upper Credit, or Remarks (iii) Any other equivalent qualifications.

3 B.TECH INDUSTRIAL DESIGN Industrial Design Candidates seeking admission into the of Industrial Design for the bachelor s degree programme must possess 5 credit passes at the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WASSSCE) or NECO or GCE O Level or its equivalent in NOT more than two sittings in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, and 2 of the following: Economics, Physics, Technical Drawing, Fine Art and Geography. Credit or Pass in Fine Art will be an additional advantage, while a pass grade in Physics will be acceptable. UTME Subjects Mathematics, Chemistry, and any one of Fine Art, Physics, Geography and Economics. Direct Entry Requirement Candidates seeking admission through direct entry should have GCE (Advanced Level) passes in at least two subjects from the following: Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Physics, Fine Art, Technical Drawing or Economics. Holders of the National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of upper credit from recognized institutions may also be considered for admission, provided they meet the minimum entry requirements, and have passed in relevant subjects in the ND examinations at credit level. 4 QUANTITY SURVEYING Quantity Surveying Candidates must have at least five (5) credits in the WASSCE or NECO or GCE O Level or its equivalent in Mathematics and Physics and any two of the following subjects: Chemistry, Economics, Building Construction, Technical Drawing, Geography, and Government. English Language, Mathematics and Physics plus one subject from Chemistry, Building Construction, Technical Drawing, Geography, Economics and Government. Candidates for direct entry must possess (i) National Diploma from recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology at Upper Credit level in Quantity Surveying or Building Technology or other relevant fields in Environmental Design and Management. (ii) GCE A level passes in at least two of the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geography and Economics.

6 URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING Urban and Regional Planning Admission into the department is mainly through the UME. The entry requirement should be 5 credits at not more than two sittings in SSCE, WASSCE, NECO, or its equivalent in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any two subjects from Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Economics, and Technical Drawing. The prospective candidate must have at least a pass in Physics. English Language, Mathematics and any two from Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Geography. In addition to fulfilling the requirement for (a) above, candidate seeking admission to 200 level shall possess any to the following: (i) Advanced level passes in at least two of the following Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Physics and Chemistry; and (ii) National Diploma (ND) at upper credit in Town Planning and related subjects.

7 BUILDING Building Candidates seeking admission into the five-year programme in the Building option should possess the WASSC, or GCE (O/L) or NECO, or equivalent with credit passes in at least five subjects including English language, Mathematics and Physics with two from the following: Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing and Building Construction. at NOT more than two sittings. In addition, applicants must obtain an acceptable pass in Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). English language, Mathematics and Physics, plus one subject from Chemistry, Building Construction, Technical Drawing, Geography and Economics In addition to the requirements specified in 4(a) above, candidates shall possess any of the following: (i) (ii) National Diploma with a minimum of Upper Credit in any of Building, Quantity Surveying Architecture or Civil Engineering; or GCE Advanced Level passes or equivalent at one sitting in Mathematics and Physics. An additional pass in Chemistry, Geography or Economics may be an advantage.

8 SURVEYING AND GEOINFORMATICS Surveying and Geoinformatics Candidates seeking admission into the five-year programme in the Surveying and Geoinformatics option possess the WASSCE or NECO or GCE ordinary level or equivalent with credit passes in at least five subjects including Mathematics, Physics, English Language and any two (2) of Geography, Elementary Surveying, Technical Drawing, Chemistry, Economics, Fine Art, Biology/Agricultural Science and Further Mathematics. at NOT more than two sittings. In addition, applicants must obtain an acceptable pass in Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
