Lee, MD West Los Angeles Mamdouh Nakla, MD South Bay Learning Objectives At the conclusion of the symposium, the participants should be able to: Describe the range of thought on the value of glaucoma case identification and the variability of practice in glaucoma management. Explain the technology and cite the performance characteristics of key novel ways of evaluating the optic nerve. Formulate rational strategies to apply lessons from major glaucoma trials and to use information about corneal thickness and to manage angle pathology Appraise the value of selected glaucoma treatment options that may have advantages in cost and in reducing treatment morbidity. Target Audience Ophthalmologists and other interested professionals such as optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, nurses, and ancillary staff.
