Economics helps us understand and explain a variety of topics such as employment, inflation, business cycles, economic growth, markets, competition, international trade, economic history, and public policy. Career Opportunities A Bachelor of Science in Economics with Computing Option includes strong economics knowledge along with the computing skills to create tools to accomplish economics analysis. This combination supports a career in designing and/or modifying computer programs and applications for use by economists working in a variety of positions.
