Vo-Ag Approval Request 2. Personnel The request of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Fenati, 1331 Old Pulaski Road, for their daughter, Grace Fenati, a Freshman, to attend the Wilmington Area School District s Vocational Agriculture Program for the school term and continuing thru graduation as long as the student is a resident of the Neshannock Township School District, as required by Section 1809 of the Public School Code was approved. A. Election of Teachers 1) Temporary Professional Contract - Part-Time - effective for the school term a. Mrs. Bobbi Medure - Assignment -.40 per day Elementary/.20 per day Title I Math 2) Professional Contract - effective for the school term a. Mr. Nathaniel Hunter - Assignment - Elementary Emotional/ Autistic Support Instructor B. Attainment of Professional Status The work of the following teachers who have completed three years of teaching is being certified as satisfactory to the Secretary of the Board of Directors as required by Section 1108 (b) of the School Laws of Pennsylvania: Amy Clark Julie Morrone Rachael Moss

Request for Leave of Absence Darci Wise, professional staff member, was granted a maternity leave of absence effective October 23, 2017, using sick and personal days and then unpaid days thru her anticipated return to work on March 26, D. Substitute Rates The following substitute rates for the school year were approved: Substitute Teachers: Substitute Bus Drivers: Substitute Custodians: Substitute Paraprofessionals: Substitute Playground: Substitute Secretaries: $85 per day $87.30 per day $13 per hour $7.50 per hour $11.35 per hour (2.5 hour schedule) $7.50 per hour 3. Athletics A. Athletic Contracts/Volunteers Fall Sports 1) Resignation Michael Mazzanti, Assistant Cross Country Coach, effective immediately, for personal reasons. 2) Election of Coaches The following individuals were approved for the positions indicated for the school year/season only: a. Jessica Balcarcel - Assistant Volleyball Coach 154 Bayberry Drive, Milford, PA 3) Volunteers The following individuals were granted permission to render their services on a voluntary basis to the programs indicated for the school year/season only:

Jennifer Joy ACCESS PA Fall Training IU V, Edinboro October 3, Use of Facilities A. Mrs. Grace Beal was granted permission for use of the Neshannock Junior/Senior High School gymnasium and concession stand from 2:00 to 8:30 p.m. on October 28, 2017, to conduct a Lay-Ups for Lucy fundraiser. No fee will be assessed. B. Central Blood Bank was granted permission for use of the Neshannock Junior/Senior High School gymnasium from 7:40 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. on February 14, 2018, to conduct a blood drive for students in grades 10 thru 12. No fee will be assessed. 6. Financial Issues A Budget The Board approved the final adoption of the school year budget with expenditures of $19,773,686 and revenue of $18,488,390 with millage set at

Act 93 Compensation Plans 1) Administrative Employees The Board approved an Act 93 Compensation Plan for the positions of Elementary Principal, Junior High Principal, High School Principal, Director of Pupil Services, School Psychologist, and Director of Technology; in compliance with Section of the PA School Code. Said Plan shall be for a term of five (5) years commencing July 1, 2016, through June 30, ) Non Professional Supervisors The Board approved an Act 93 Compensation Plan for the positions of Supervisor of Transportation, Supervisor of Maintenance & Mechanical Operations, and Assistant to Maintenance (Part-time); in compliance with Section of the PA School Code. Said Plan shall be for a term of five (5) years commencing July 1, 2017, trough June 30, C. Authorization for Payment of Bills The Board authorized the Superintendent and Business Manager to pay July 2017 bills; to make the necessary budget transfers; and to encumber, where necessary, certain accounts for the fiscal year with the Board receiving a listing of bills prior to payment. D. Athletic Training Services Agreement 7. Board Issues An Athletic Training Services Agreement with UPMC Center for Sports Medicine for a three (3) year term beginning July 1, 2017, and ending June 30, 2020, was approved. A. Affiliation Agreement Slippery Rock University s Affiliation Agreement relative to placement of student teachers with the District was approved.

5 Page 5 7. Board Issues cont. B. Items for Discard The Board approved the proper disposal of AV items that were no longer viable. In addition, the Board approved the proper disposal of instruments, uniforms, records, and risers that are beyond repair, obsolete, and/or a safety concern with a few of the items being placed for sale with funds going to support the District s music program. The discard of old football jerseys was also approved with permission to sell the jerseys with funds going to support the football program. C. Homestead/Farmstead Exclusion Resolution The 2017 Homestead and Farmstead Exclusion Resolution for a total property tax reduction of $69.21 per eligible Homestead and Farmstead was approved. D. Gasoline and Diesel Bid Award The Gasoline and Diesel Fuel bid was awarded to Reed Oil Company at the rate of per gallon for gasoline and per gallon for diesel ultra low sulfer with an additional.03 per gallon for winter additive when requested. E. MOU Safe Schools A Memorandum of Understanding between the Neshannock Township School District and the Neshannock Township Police Department was approved as required by the Safe Schools Act prior to its submission to PDE. F. Contract for School Security Services A contract for school security services between the Neshannock Township School District and Shaffer Security & Investigation, LLC for the and school years was approved. G. Agreement - Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol Commission, Inc. The Board authorized the Administration to enter into a Service Agreement with Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol Commission, Inc. for Prevention Services for the school year.

Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV 1) The Board approved the Educational Service Agreement between the Neshannock Township School District and the Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV for Special Education Programs for the school year. 2) The Board approved the listing of contracted Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV Special Education Itinerant Services for the school year which include OT/PT, Hearing Screening, Vision Screening, and Instruction in the Home.
