GOMs NO.29, HM&FW(C1) Dept, Dated; Representation from TS Private Medical & Dental Colleges Managements Association, Dated:11/04/2017 & 17/04/ G.O.Ms.No.40, HM & FW (C1) Department, Dated:09/5/2017 ORDER: -:o0o:- The TS Private Medical & Dental Colleges Managements Association has requested the Government for revision of Tuition Fee for MD / MS / Diploma / MDS Courses citing the actual costs involved in imparting quality education and escalations in costs due to implementation of sixth pay commission scales / increase in the University related fees and assessment of such costs in Deemed to be Universities. 2. In pursuance of the judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated in Appeal (civil) No of 2005 filed by P.A. Inamdar Vs. State of Maharashtra (AIR 2005 SC 3226), and also discussions held with the Private Unaided Non-Minority Medical / Dental Colleges in the State for the Post Graduate Courses i.e., MD / MS / Diploma / MDS, a consensual arrangement has been arrived, among others, in fixing the fee structure for the Competent Authority Seats, Management (Sub - Category - 1, 2 & 3) Seats in Un - Aided Non - Minority Medical / Dental Colleges in the State. 3. The Government after careful examination of the matter hereby order that the fee structure and certain directions connected thereto as indicated in the annexure to this order shall be implemented by all the Private Un- Aided Non-Minority Medical / Dental Colleges. These orders are applicable to the Private UnAided Non-Minority Medical / Dental Professional Institutions in the State, and shall come into force from the academic year The Principals of all Private Unaided Non-Minority Medical / Dental Colleges shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly. 5. These orders are subject to directions/outcome of the court cases, pending if any, and as per the guidelines/directions issued by MCI/GOI from time to time. 3 ANNEXURE (ANNEXURE to the G.O.Ms.No.41, HM& F W (C1) Department, Dated: 09/05/2017) Particulars of the Tuition Fee structure per annum in respect of Post Graduate Medical / Dental courses in Private Un - Aided Non - Minority Colleges from the Academic year and certain directions thereto. MD/MS/Diploma (Medical courses) a) Tuition fee of Convener Quota seats (50% of total intake capacity): All Broad b. Para-clinical Degree /Diploma Courses- Rs.6,60,000/ c. Clinical Degree/Diploma Courses: Rs.6,90,000/ b) Tuition Fee for management quota seats (Sub-Category 1):All Broad b. Para-clinical Degree /Diploma Courses- Rs.6,90,000/ c. Clinical Degree/ Diploma Courses Rs.24,20,000/ c) Tuition Fee for management quota seats (Sub-Category 2& 3): All Broad Degree Courses / Diploma Courses: not exceeding 3 times of b) c above MDS (Dental courses) d) Tuition fee of Convener Quota seats (50% of total intake capacity):all Broad a. Para-Clinical Degree Courses :-- Rs.5,25,000/ b. Clinical Degree Courses : -- Rs.5,50,000/ e) Tuition Fee for management quota seats (Sub-Category 1): All Broad a. Para-Clinical Degree Courses- Rs.7,00,000/ b. Clinical Degree Courses Rs.10,00,000 f) Tuition Fee for management quota seats (Sub-Category 2& 3):All Broad a. Para-Clinical Degree Courses :-- Rs.8,00,000/ b. Clinical Degree Courses: -- Rs.15,00,000/ * Non clinical degrees include Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine and Radiology. Notes: 1. Tuition fee is payable annually. 2. There shall be 5% increment in tuition fee per year to offset inflation 3. The students who were admitted into the course prior to 2017 shall continue to pay every year the same annual fee at the rate existing at the time of their admission till they complete the course. 4. The student shall pay the same tuition fee for the entire course period, as paid at the time of admission. 5. The Institution shall collect the tuition fee every year in advance only for that particular year. 6. The managements of the institution may seek Bank Guarantee for tuition fee chargeable for the entire course.

ORDER: -:ooo:- In the representation 3 rd read above, the Managing Director, Deccan College of Medical Sciences & Allied Institutions, Hyderabad has, among others, represented the Government to issue necessary orders for admission procedure into Private Unaided Minority Medical Colleges in line with Govt decision in case of the Non Minority Institutions 2.
