1 November 2017 Volume 4, Issue 3 Jane Stephens Honor Program Inside this issue: Murder Mystery Dinner Honors Council: Updates Upcoming Events 5 Contact us! Overview Happy (early) Thanksgiving! With only two more weeks of classes before Finals Week, we hope you all enjoy your much needed break and spend some time at home with your families. And while you re at it, maybe even use some of that extra time to get a jump start on studying? (No? Just us?) Anyway, November may have been less jam-packed than the last couple months, but the Honors Council made up for it with a Murder Mystery Dinner to die for and some special announcements. Keep reading for more information! Coming Soon: T-Shirts! Thanks to all of you that ordered this year s Honors Program T-shirts! We think they look great, and we can t wait until they come in! Stay tuned for an from the Honors House, and we ll let you know when to come pick them up. 1

2 Murder Mystery Dinner: Thirst for Blood Everyone s favorite Murder Mystery extravaganza was held at the Honors House on Friday, November 10, and like always, it was a blast! The members of the Honors Council played their parts well, but the true stars of the night were our special guest actors, who each played Dr. Ludwig von Herring and Ingrid the dinners attendees all voted unanimously for them as Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively. (Special Thanks to Dr. Bambi Robinson as well, who played a lovely witch s assistant.) The attendees themselves, of course, also did very well, with several receiving awards for their outstanding detective skills, spirit of participation, and ideas so creative that the cast hadn t even thought of it! We hope you all had as much fun as we did, and please come again next year to another Honors-held Murder 2
