1 Graduating Class Profile Academic Year 0-0 Executive Summary Each summer, the Office of prepares the Graduating Class Profile Report. This year s report contains information on the 0-0 academic year graduates. Basic demographics are included as well as information on how long the graduates have attended Southeastern and from which institutions students last transferred. During the 0-0 academic year, Southeastern conferred a total of, degrees, a decrease of (.6%) degrees from the 0-0 academic year. Seventy-seven percent (77%) of baccalaureate degree recipients are White, Non-Hispanic, while sixty-four percent (6%) are female. Some highlights include: Twenty-three percent (%) of the graduates who were classified as Beginning Freshmen graduated within four years. This is one percentage point lower than the 0-0 graduating class. For transfer students, Southeastern s leading feeder school is Baton Rouge Community College followed by Delgado Community College, Louisiana State University Baton Rouge, River Parishes Community College, University of New Orleans, University of Louisiana-Lafayette, Nicholls State University, and Our Lady of The Lake College. The undergraduate baccalaureate program with the highest number of graduates in 0-0 is the B.G.S. in General Studies. This program is followed by the B.S. in Nursing, B.A. in Management, B.A. in Criminal Justice, and B.A. Psychology. The baccalaureate programs (at least graduates) with the highest percentage of students who began as transfers are B.S. Supply Chain Management, followed by B.A. Sociology, B.S. Middle School Education, B.A. Spanish, B.G.S. General Studies, B.A. Social Work, B.S. Accounting, B.S. Nursing, and B.S. Elementary Education. In contrast, the programs with the lowest percentage of transfers are B.S. Biological Sciences, B.A. Art, B.A. English, B.B.A. Business Administration, B.S. Kinesiology, and B.S. Early Childhood Education. Sixty-eight percent (68%) of the baccalaureate degree recipients started Southeastern as Beginning Freshmen. This is up ten percentage points over last year.
