12 MULTIPLE BARRIERS AND OVERLAPPING IDENTITIES Intersectionality: The interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, class, and gender as they apply to a given individual or group, regarded as creating overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage
13 MOBILITY LOCATION Top 9 countries visited by students from disadvantaged groups reflected the national pattern Europe: France, Spain, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands English speaking: United States, Canada, Australia Asia: China
14 MOBILITY PROGRAMME Across all the target groups the majority of students were taking part in either Erasmus+ or a provider led programme. BME students were more likely to undertake a period of mobility as part of a provider led programme.
15 MOBILITY DURATION Students from target groups were all more likely to undertake short-term mobility than their peers.

20 Activities Help students prepare for their mobile experience Training design follows a researchbased intercultural competency growth model, developed by academic colleagues at the university Outcomes Numbers have grown from 44 in 2014 to 350 students in 2017.
