1 Checklist for Complete Application Packet Thank you for your interest in the program at. To ensure you have a complete application packet, double check that the items listed below are included. Incomplete applications will not be processed. Application form (pages 2-5 of this packet) Online application for admission to CWU as a post-baccalaureate student: You are a student seeking a second bachelor s degree or certificate. You are not applying for Graduate School. Note: CWU requires receipt of official transcripts from every postsecondary institution you have attended. These transcripts should be ordered and submitted directly to CWU admissions. Cover letter indicating career goals, intended endorsement area(s), teaching level of interest, and verification of willingness to participate in a Summer Academy and complete a full-time internship during the school year. Resume Unofficial transcripts to verify a minimum of 3.0 grade point average. Two letters of recommendation. Each letters must include one of the following: Verification of one year of successful student interaction and leadership (Route 2 only). Verification of one year of career experience (i.e., accountant, chemist, conditional certified teacher) (Routes 3 & 4 or mid-career professionals/individuals employed with conditional certificates/emergency substitutes). Verification of passing WEST-B scores. To register for West tests go to Verification of passing WEST-E or NES scores. In addition, official test scores must be provided directly from the testing agency to CWU. WEST-B, SAT*, or ACT* A minimum of 240 in each section on the WEST B is required for a pass.
