Naviance is a comprehensive online college/career readiness resource used for: planning advising organizing informing researching communicating database comparative analysis-guides data driven decisions Students Personalized & private Track applications Parents/Guardians Teachers Counselors/Guidance Tool to securely send documents to colleges Store student data Colleges Don t have access. Can only view what counselors send.

11 + Standardized testing: ACT/SAT Take either SAT or ACT (or both). Need to upload a photo when you register. No need to take tests more than 3 times. If applying Early Action (Oct/Nov) take standardized tests by August. Need to take test 6-7 weeks before college deadline. Student sends scores to colleges directly from ACT or SAT sites. 14 + Application Process: Responsibilities Guidance/Counselor Share expertise regarding college and career process during 1-1 meetings, small group sessions and presentations, etc. Write a counselor letter of evaluation (narrative to transcript) Send transcript (initial, mid-year and final), and Qtr. 1 per request Send school profile, letters of recommendation, and counselor evaluation Communicate with admissions counselors
