I am the lead researcher on this study. We are seeking to understand whether or not students that experience food insecurity while in college feel a sense of belonging

4 within the institution both academically and socially. Results will be used to help the institution ascertain what services are needed to support students experiencing food insecurity. Stylus Non-tenure Track Faculty Book, Stylus just offered our research team, Nathan Alleman, Don Haviland, and myself a book contract to write about the current experiences of non-tenure track faculty and the ways in which institutions can respond to make a better work environment for the new majority of faculty. The manuscript is due spring Felt Identity Among Community College Students, This study is being conducted with a faculty member and 3 doctoral students in my department. Building off a sociological study of collegiate identity formation by Kaufman and Feldman (2004) this study analyzes how community college students conceive of this community college experience and whether or not it contributes to students felt identity toward new identity formulations, or in ways that reinforce prior class perceptions. Stigma: Faculty Who are Denied Tenure, This study is currently under development and will explore the socialpsychological phenomenon of being denied tenure. The study employ s Goffman s concept of stigma and explores how individuals who are denied tenure or foresee being denied tenure handle impression management, compartmentalization, and other strategies to navigate an undesirable professional label that also holds implications for personal self-projection. I am working on this project in conjunction with a faculty member at Baylor and a fellow graduate student in the Sociology department.
