15 AP Environmental Science Course Overview: Equivalent of a one-semester, introductory college course in environmental science Students engage with the scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies required to understand the interrelationships of the natural world Environmental science is interdisciplinary, embracing topics from geology, biology, environmental studies, environmental science, chemistry, and geography. What makes this course interesting? Learn about the natural world through hands-on, laboratory investigations and observations Use field work to study both human-made and natural environmental problems in your local ecosystem Prerequisites Biology & Chemistry completed with C or better Minimum math requirement is concurrent Geometry
16 ROP Pharmacy Clerk Course Overview: Prepare to work as a pharmacy clerk in a drug store, pharmacy or hospital setting. Learn medical terminology to prepare you for further education in healthcare. Learn how to: Read & transcribe doctors orders Prepare medications Perform pharmaceutical calculations Classify drugs Identify trade and generic names of commonly prescribed drugs Prerequisites: Medical Careers is recommended. Class meets after school, 2 days per week, 2.5 hours per day.

19 Dear Aztec Letter - highlights For electives, include alternates and choose carefully. If you do not select alternates, classes will be chosen for you based on availability. Teacher signatures are required for math and world language placement. Students must earn a second semester grade of C or better to move on. All Seniors must be enrolled in 5 classes, Sophomores and Juniors 6 classes. Seniors may enroll in ROP Work Experience if they have a job. Students may earn a maximum of 10 credits in ROP per semester. Zero period courses are extremely limited and not guaranteed. Priority will be given to students taking at least six classes. Your course selection sheet is due to your Language Arts teacher on. Your registration appointment is on.

Most classes are yearlong and semester changes are very limited, choose your classes carefully! Check zero period box if interested.
