3 Introduction This Fact Book represents basic data about Eastern University, providing information about entering students, all students, and employees. The goal is to provide, in one location, information for those who have an interest in the institution, whether they are prospective students, present students, alumni, employees, donors, or researchers. In addition, a Longitudinal Fact Book is also available on our webpage that will show trends for the data for students since Fall Historical employee Data will also transition to the Longitudinal Fact Book this year. This will make it easier to spot changes for entering and all students as well as retention and graduation data. The goal of these efforts is to make this page on the Institutional Research website a one stop page for all data about Eastern. Previous Fact Books (the 2014 Fact Book has some data back to Fall 2008 or Fall 2010) or the Common Data Set (which has data back to Fall 2007) may be accessed by clicking on the links on the Institutional Research webpage. If you are a current student or employee of the University, you may request more information from the Office of Institutional Research by clicking this link (request more information) or clicking on the link at the bottom of the Institutional Research web page this will require you to log into the Web Help Desk. If you are a visitor to Eastern, please contact the Institutional Research Office through the contact information listed on the last page of the Fact Book. Thank you for your interest in Facts about Eastern University. Thomas A. Dahlstrom, Director Laura Sturgill, Associate Director Joy Duval Greco, Research Associate 3 January 2019
