1 BOARD OF EDUCATION GENEVA, NEW YORK Geneva Schools will educate and graduate all students with the essential skills and knowledge to live lives of consequence 1.0 CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION CENTER 400 WEST NORTH STREET AUGUST 20, :45 PM Special Meeting Meeting called to order at 6:45 p.m. with President Josephine Guard presiding. 2.0 SALUTE TO FLAG 3.0 OPERATIONS AND FINANCE ( ) 3.1 APPROVAL OF TAX ROLL AND ISSUE OF THE TAX WARRANT New York State Education Law requires the Board of Education to confirm the school tax roll by adoption of a special resolution. A majority of the Board of Education is required to sign the tax warrant for the collection of taxes. RESOLVED, that the Board of Education approve the attached resolution and adopt the tax roll and issue the tax warrant. 3.2 APPROVAL OF YEAR END BUDGET TRANSFERS RESOLVED, that the Board of Education on the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Business and Finance approve the year end budget transfers which are in excess of $10, APPROVAL OF RETROACTIVE BUDGET TRANSFERS RESOLVED, that the Board of Education on the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Business and Finance approve retroactive budget transfers in excess of $10,000 for the school year. These retroactive transfers are pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Geneva Teacher s Association collective bargaining agreement with the school district 1

2 (June 2014-June 2019) dated May 18, 2015 and approved by the Board of Education at the June 8, 2015 Regular Meeting. Motion Seconded Vote 4.0 PERSONNEL ( ) RESOLVED, that the Board of Education upon the recommendation and consideration of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services, approves the following personnel recommendations: ADMINISTRATIVE 4.1 MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Board of Education approves the Memorandum of Agreement dated August 18 th, 2015 which states an ISNU member to be compensated for required administrative duties associated with the Math Science Partnership Grant from July1, 2015 to June 30, The Board President to so signify by affixing her signature to the document 4.2 DANIELLE OUILLETTE, Principal, North Street School, Focus School State Review, during the school year, $2,500, F School Improvement Grant-A1003, effective January 3, 2015 through June 30, 2015 (Approved by: Trina Newton) 4.3 MARGARET WRIGHT, Assistant Principal, North Street School, Focus School State Review, during the school year, $1,500, F School Improvement Grant-A1003, effective January 3, 2015 through June 30, 2015 (Approved by: Trina Newton) INSTRUCTIONAL 4.4 RESIGNATIONS ANTHONY NOONE, Elementary Teacher, North Street School, effective August 11, 2015, due to accepting a position outside the district ALLISON DAUPHIN, Science Teacher, High School, effective August 4, 2015, due to accepting a position outside the district 4.5 APPOINTMENTS Except to the extent required by the applicable provisions of Section 3012 of the Education Law, in order to be granted tenure the teachers must receive composite or overall annual professional performance review ratings pursuant to Section 3012-c 2
