Certificate from the present employer giving the details of your professional experience and recomendation letter for admission to the above courses as given in Appendix-A Specifically mentioning that the employer has no objection to your admission and that he will give you full facility to attend the college regularly if admitted. 5. A candidate seeking admission on reserved seat shall be required to produce a Certificate of Caste: Provided that the candidate belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes shall be required to produce a certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in Creamy Layer in addition to the caste certificate issued on or after 1 st -April The candidate belonging to un-reserved Economically Weaker Section as specified by Government shall be required to produce a certificate of income issued on or after 1 st -April Candidates who have passed diploma from other states shall have to produce proof of stay & service of 5 years in Gujarat. EXTRACTS OF THE RULES FOR GENERAL GUIDANCE FOR ADMISSION TO THE POST DIPLOMA DEGREE COURSES FOR DIPLOMA HOLDERS 1. The minimum qualification required for admission to the post diploma degree courses are : (a) (b) (c) (d) Diploma in respective branch with atleast 45% marks of the State Council of Technical Education. Practical and/or teaching experience of atleast 2 years in the corresponding branch (after obtaining diploma) for candidates from Gujarat Sate and at least 5 years experience and stay in Gujarat State after passing diploma for the candidates who have passed their diploma examination from the state other than Gujarat State. and at the time of admission and during study he must actively engaged in industry or profession in and around Ahmedabad. He / She must be working in the company / organization situated within a radius of 45 km from the institute. 2. The college is affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University and the examination for these courses will be conducted by G.T.U. For award of Degree, Post Diploma Degree course in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and communication branches are of eight semester duration. 3. Tuition Fee is ` 1000/- per semester. 4. The course will be conducted in the evening from 6.15 p.m. to 9.25 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and Sunday (If required) 5. The seats are reserved for SC/ST/S.E.B.C./P.H./Ex. Serviceman/EBC (Un-reserved Economically Weaker Section) as per prevailing Govt. rules. 6. Applications received after 5.00 p.m. of the last date mentioned on the application form & incomplete application will be rejected. 7. Students studying in Post Diploma Degree Course are not eligible for Gymkhana activities. (5)

No caste certificate shall be valid unless it is duly stamped, signed and issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat. 10. No certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in Creamy Layer certificate in gujarati parishist K shall be valid, unless it is duly stamped, signed and issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat. Such certificate shall have been issued on or after the 1st April of the academic year in which the candidate is seeking admission. 11. No income certificate in gujarati parishist A (For EBC-Un-reserved Economically Weaker Section) shall be valid, unless it is duly stamped, signed and issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat. Such certificate shall have been issued on or after the 1st April of the academic year in which the candidate is seeking admission. 12. If a candidate fails to submit the cast certificates as required, his candidature shall be considered for admission under unreserved category. 13. If a candidate of reserved category gets admission on unreserved seat in order of merits, he may be given admission on the unreserved seat according to his preference. 14. The admission of a candidate of a reserved category on a reserved seat shall be valid subject to the verification of caste certificate issued to him by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf. In case the caste certificate is found to be invalid on verification, he shall not have right to claim his admission on reserved seat and if he has already been granted admission, such admission shall be cancelled. Admission of such candidate may be continued in case of availability of vacant unreserved seats, subject to the condition of eligibility of merit. 15. After granting admission to all the candidates of reserved categories on respective reserved seats, the reserved category seats remaining vacant shall be transferred to the unreserved category seats. 16. The link is provided for form fees payment of Rs. 350/- on click on student section icon and go to web page of online sbi, select Gujarat state - Educational institute and submit, then select L. D. College of Engineering, page will be (options to be selected for payment) opened for different options, fill the details and make the payment, take the print out of fees paid and submit to the respective department along with the duly signed your form along with all the supporting self-attested documents. Same way after getting admission slip after admission process, pay the college fees on line and confirm your admission after submitting the receipt to the respetctive department. Also admitted students shall have to fill the registration form at student section along with the college fee receipt and other documents. 17.
