From the Editorial Board: A teacher has to bear the qualities of endurance, emancipation in education and establishments of knowledge in all perspectives. In particular, at the time of examinations and the conduct of the courses towards the examination, the teacher of any discipline ought to have a thorough knowledge in deeper sense. An average teacher teaches. A good teacher explains. A good teacher bestows his or her knowledge with explanations as the rain water sprinkles its dew drops on the tip of the each grass. Later, the grass grows and illumines as child responds to its parents when it sees after a long time. This analogy of its kind would certainly be an appropriate one since, when an aspiring student who is on the verge of sitting for the examination. The more you listen, the more you gain. If not the teacher who is to be there for the release of the clutches of students fear and inhibitions. During the tenure of learning, a student is like an empty vessel. If anything is poured with all qualms of conscience by the teacher which will definitely rapture the hidden thoughts of a student. A full throated way of disclosure would elevate the intuitive power of the student at its height. The harmony between the soul of a teacher and the soul of a student would pave way for enlightenment in terms of knowledge and wisdom. Description of a thing or a concept is finite. Description of the quality of the good teacher is infinite. As in Greek edu means to come from and hence the education is sustained in the long run. The interim aspect of the examination and its related courses, it is much invited from teachers esp. good teachers and not the student and their knowledge and their concept of anything ordained by himself or herself.

2 Profile of an Engineering Teacher Prof. C. Nelson Kennedy Babu HEAD / P.G. (CSE) DEAN R & D Prof. C. Nelson Kennedy Babu is well known for his academic accomplishments. Being an engineering teacher he has acquired a plenty of knowledge as far as the engineering discipline is concerned. Basically he did his Bachelor Degree in Physics in Madurai Kamaraj University. With the quest of knowledge in computer, he pursued his interested area of Computer Science by doing his Master Degree in Computer Science in Madurai Kamaraj University. With a view to get mastery over Computer he did M.Tech. Degree in Computer and I.T. in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. Knowledge is spreading of thoughts and ideas and as a result, he started his research in the field of Computer with the specialized area of Image Processing in Madurai Kamaraj University and got his Ph.D. By virtue of the intellect and interest he has devoted himself as a teacher of engineering, over two decades. He has rendered his service in teaching by holding various positions that is to say Computer Programmer, Lecturer, Professor. Above all he held the position as a Principal in CMS College of Engineering, Namakkal for three years. Though he held various positions in the academic area, he was sticking on as teacher by handling classes. He has infinite varities as depicted by the great dramatist. By showcasing his infinite varities, he has adjoined himself in our Institution as the Professor and Head of P.G. Programme in CSE. He is designated as Dean, Research and Development, is one more feather added to the cap of his dedicated and devotional endeavours towards the academic pursuits. In the realm of his academic accomplishments he has attended and participated several number of Workshops, Seminars, Conferences both National and International levels, Short Term Courses and so on. In addition to his academic implication, he is an active member of the Engineering bodies viz. ISTE and IEEE. As a whole he aims at the zenith of success in all his walks of life. With a vibrant provocation against the drug abuse the students are being administrated the pledge. With a view to make the public to be aware of the ruins caused by the Drugs, our College with a magnanimous motion conducted a vibrant rally on An Awareness programme on Drug Abuse in view of Drug Abuse Awareness Day. The rally was actually organized by our college Medical Counselling Organization in association with NCC wing of our college. Col. AB.
