Failure to deposit the course fee in time will attract late fee of Rs. 50/- per day (including PhD programme) upto one month and Rs per month or part there of beyond one month. In addition to annual fee there will be Transport charges per year to be paid by the students of all programme of Faculty of Nursing and other programmes wherever applicable. In addition to annual fee there will be refundable security deposit of Rs.10,000/- in M.Sc. Clinical Research Programme. Annual fee in full will be charged for a course which is taught for six months in the last year of the course. From teaching and non teaching employees of Jamia Hamdard registered for Ph. D. programme fees will be charged as per rules. Education tour charges (where ever applicable) will be as per actual.

11 P a g e 11 ANNUAL HOSTEL FEE FOR ANNUAL HOSTEL FEE FOR VARIOUS HOSTELS (BOYS & GIRLS) The annual hostel fee (General/SFS category of Boys and Girls students sharing accommodation in rooms) for the academic year will be Rs. 65,000/- (AC) and Rs.40000/- (Non- AC) in the following hostels. HALL OF RESIDENCY (GIRLS HOSTEL) The Annual Hostel Fee for Abdul Mueed Halls of Residency (AMHR, Girls Hostel) for both MBBS and Non MBBS students ( sharing accommodation in rooms) for the academic year will be Rs. 60,000/- (Non AC) and Rs.85000/- (AC) ANNUAL HOSTEL FEE FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS/ NRI/ SPONSORED CANDIDATES Foreign Nationals /NRI/ Sponsored candidates for both AMHR Girls Hostel and Jawaharlal Nehru International Boys Hostel, The annual hostel fee will be as under - Preference will be given to foreign/nri/sponsored candidates in the above Hostels US$ 1100 (Non AC Rooms) US$ 1550 (AC Rooms) ANNUAL HOSTEL FEE FOR DORMITORY OF GIRLS HOSTEL, Name of Hostel Fee AMHR Dormitory 36000/- AMSH Annexe Dormitory HPS Talimabad Dormitory 36000/- RSN Dormitory 14000/- General Note: The Hostel fee shall be charged for the whole academic year. First Quarter: Second Quarter: Third Quarter: Fourth Quarter: 1 st July to 30 th September; 1 st October to 31 st December 1 st January to 31 st March 1 st April to 30 th June A hostler will have to deposit an amount of Rs. 10,000/- as Hostel Security Money. The Security money will not be refunded if a student over stays in the hostel for more than a month after the last examination held for a particular course. Students can claim the hostel deposit within one year from the date of hostel vacation. Charges Charges of single seated AC Room : Fee Rs.170,000 Rs.170,000 Allotment in the hostel will be for one academic year only. Allotment of Hostel for subsequent years shall be afresh and at rates as prevalent in those years. The above Annual Hostel Fees would be applicable for academic Session Hostellers will have to vacate the hostel at the end of the academic session (after annual/semester examinations). Seats in the hostel would be allotted afresh to the students in the month of July when the new academic session begins.

12 P a g e 12 Mechanical Laundry Facility is available and is mandatory for hostellers in the University. An allottee will have to deposit the annual Laundry charge for washing of clothes as per rules of the University along with Annual Hostel Fee. The charges will be decided by the University every year. Availing the Mess facility will be compulsory for the Hostellers of Jamia Hamdard Hostels. The mess charges will be as prevalent every year. Hostel bylaws will be applicable to the hostlers GUIDELINES FOR WITHDRAWAL OF ADMISSION AND REFUND OF FEE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR Following rules as notified by UGC vide their letter D.O. No.1-3/2007 (CPP-II) dated 6 th December 2016 will govern the refund of fee in case of withdrawal of admission. 1. If a student choose to withdraw from the program of study in which he/she is enrolled, Jamia Hamdard shall follow the following four-tier system for the refund of fees remitted by the student. In case of (1) in the table above, Jamia Hamdard shall deduct an amount not more than 10% of the aggregate fees as processing charges from the refundable amount. 3. Fees shall be refunded by Jamia Hamdard to an eligible student within fifteen days from the date of receiving a written application from him/her in this regard.
