NOTICE NEET (U.G.) 2018 College Level Counseling for Stray Vacancy Hon ble Supreme Court in Writ Petition (s) (Civil) No(s). 267/2017 Dar-Us-Slam Educational Trust and ors versus Medical Council of India and ors. Dated paragraph no. 7 has directed: In order to ascertain the number of seats that still remain vacant after the counseling the State Government or the authority designated by the State Government shall conduct manual counseling for allotment of students. After the completion counseling, the State Government shall determine the number of seats that are still vacant and thereafter shall forward a list of students in order of merit, equalling to ten times the number of vacant seats to the medical college so that in case of any stray vacancy arising in any college the said seat may be filled up from the said list. Honorable High court of Uttarakhand in writ petition No (M/S) 2554 of 2018 and writ petition No (M/S) 2560 of 2018 dated has directed: The Concerned medical colleges shall advertise the number of vacant seats in these colleges and also inform the State Centralised Counseling Board. It is made clear that only such seats the vacancy of which has been informed to the State Centralised Counseling Board shall be allowed to be filled by the concerned medical colleges in the stray round, which shall be done strictly in accordance with paragraph no. 7 of Dar-Us-Slam Educational Trust case i.e. in accordance with the merit list sent by

2 the State Centralised Counseling Board. No other seat shall be allowed to be filled by the colleges under any condition as this Court has been informed that for certain reasons medical colleges, even though aware of the vacancy or the possible vacancy of these seats, do not announce/publish these vacancies till the last moment and then these seats are allotted to less deserving students in total disregards of merit. This needs to be checked. In compliance to the above directions the college level counselling of stray vacancy seats will be conducted by Principal/Admission authority of concerned medical college. The colleges are required to strictly adhere to the directions given by Hon ble Supreme Court in Writ Petition (s) (Civil) No(s). 267/2017 Dar-UsSlam Educational Trust and ors versus Medical Council of India and ors., Hon ble High Court of Uttarakhand in Writ Petition No (M/S) 2554 of 2018 and writ petition No (M/S) 2560 of 2018 and MCI notification No. 47 dated 06th February, The Principal/Admission authority of concerned medical college will publish an advertisement in the newspaper and college website giving the detail of vacant seat(s), time schedule and procedure of Counselling along with fee details. The overall waiting list of the candidates and list of students in ratio of 1:10 for State and All India Management Quota Seats as per eligibility & security fee deposited and forwarded to the colleges against the present vacancy notified by the colleges till are uploaded on the University Website Keeping in view the time constraints and fixed time schedule of counselling and in order to inform maximum number of students who are holding merit positions in the waiting list to be aware of there waiting position, three consecutive waiting list in ratio of 1:10 in order of merit is uploaded on the university website and provided to the colleges for college level counselling. If seat remains vacant due to non-reporting, non-availability and noninterested candidates of first waiting list only then second waiting list candidates will be considered for allotment in order of merit. Similarly, if second waiting list is also exhausted only then candidates from third waiting list will be considered for allotment in order of merit. Under no circumstance last date of admission will be extended beyond All admission formalities will be completed by medical colleges; hence candidates are advised to contact the concerned medical colleges for any clarification. 4 NISHA KHATI HARSHA BOHRA YASHMEEK SINGH Fee Structure: Tuition Fee Rs. 5, 00,000/-* (Rupees Five Lakh Only) * The tuition fee being charged as per the direction of Govt. of Uttarakhand. Tuition fee is bound to change/ increase; present fee of our college is based on the expenditure report of the college of year and has not been revised/increased for last six years. During this period the fee of other medical colleges of the country has hiked manifold. The matter is already in Court of Law; the college & students shall abide by the final decision of the Court of Law. 6.2 In addition to the tuition fee, a candidate shall be charged the following fees: (i) One time non refundable Admission fees of Rs. 1,00,000/- for all categories. (ii) One time Refundable Security fees of Rs. 3,00,000/- for all categories. (iii) Hostel Fee Rs.1,18,000/- p.a. on twin sharing basis. (iv) Mess charges Rs. 1,30,000/p.a. Page 3 of 5 (v) Sports, cultural, computer lab, skill lab, & Miscellaneous etc Rs. 1,00,000/- (vi) Enrolment fee : Rs. 1,000/- (vii) Vaccination & Medical Examination Charges: Rs. 5000/-. (viii) University Examination fee shall be charged as per University rules. (ix) Uniform charges Rs. 12,000/- (x) Convocation Charges (to be paid in the final year): as per University rules (xi) Alumni fee (to be paid in the final year) The total fees of Rs. 12, 66,000/- has to be deposited in college by Demand Draft in favour of SGRRIM & HS, Patel Nagar, Dehradun at the time of admission. 6.3 Note: (i) The fees for First Prof. shall continue to be charged till the candidate passes out the First Prof. Exam. (ii) The candidate must pass First Prof. in 12 (twelve) months; otherwise tuition fees shall be charged as follows:

5 (a) If a student fails or is detained in 01 (one) subject in First Prof. University Main Examination and does not pass supplementary examination, which is conducted immediately after the main University Examination, he/she shall pay 1/3 (one-third) amount of the existing tuition fee as additional tuition fee till the student passes out First Prof. Exam. (b) If a student fails or is detained in 02 (two) subjects in First Prof. University Main Examination and does not pass supplementary examination, which is conducted immediately after the main University Examination, he/she shall pay 2/3 (two-third) amount of the existing tuition fee as additional tuition fee till the student passes out First Prof. Exam. (c) If a student fails or is detained in all the subjects in First Prof. Page 4 of 5 University Main Examination and does not pass supplementary examination, which is conducted immediately after the main University Examination, he/she shall pay full existing tuition fee as additional tuition fee till the student passes out First Prof. Exam. (iii) After passing the First Prof. Examination, every student must pass Second Prof., Final Prof. Part - I & Final Prof. Part - II in 42 (forty-two) months and must pay his tuition fee for the full course (4 ½ years). If he fails to do so, he/she shall pay ½ (half) amount of the tuition fee determined by the University for Final Prof. Part - II as an additional tuition fee till he/she passes Final Prof. Part - II University Examination. (iv) As per the Judgement passed by the Hon ble Supreme Court of India, in the matter of Islamic Academy of Education and Another V/s State of Karnataka & Others (Writ Petition Civil No. 350 of 1993) in its judgement dated , all candidates who obtain admission in the Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dehradun shall be required to submit, at the time of joining, a bank guarantee to the effect that he/she shall not withdraw his/her candidature after the last date fixed for admission; failing which he/she shall be required to pay to the University tuition fee for the entire duration of the programme. 7.
