1 Contact: Diane Wilson, Admissions Coordinator ext. 270 APPLICATION PROCESS Early Application Mount St. Mary Catholic High School has an Early Application process for incoming 9th grade families who would like their child to be considered for early acceptance and enrollment at The Mount. An application will be considered for the Early Application Process when the following have been received at the MSM Admissions Office on or before 3:00 p.m. January 15, 2019: All forms return to MSM. 1. Completed Information sheet 2. Completed Parent form 3. Completed Student form (2 pgs) 4. Completed PLUSS form & current psych-educational testing (IF APPLICABLE) 5. $100 early application fee ( we accept cash, checks, or online pymts) 6. Parent / Guardian signed Release of Records form 7. Parent / Guardian signed Recommendation form Applications meeting the Early Application criteria will be reviewed, and letters of acceptance will be mailed to students beginning February 1st. Failure to meet any of the above requirements by 3:00 pm January 15, 2019, will result in the application reverting to the General Application process. General Application Mount St. Mary will gladly accept applications for admission which do not meet the Early Application process criteria. A General Application includes: completed Parent & Student Forms including PLUSS where applicable, Parent/ Guardian signed Teacher Recommendation form, and Release of Records form. (a general application does not require a deposit). Completed general applications will be reviewed for acceptance the first week of each month (March-July) until the class is full. STS HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT TESTING All 8th graders considering admission to Mount St. Mary Catholic High School are required to take placement testing to aid in determining appropriate course selections. STS High School Placement Testing will be held at The Mount on December 15 and February 9. Testing will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will end at approximately 11:30 a.m. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to test start time. There is no testing fee. Calculators are NOT allowed. Scores from STS testing taken at Bishop McGuinness will also be accepted for MSM admission. Register online at under the Admissions tab at least 5 days prior to the test date. 2 Tuition Rates listed are for the school year. We expect tuition for will increase by 3-5%. Tuition is paid on a 10 month or 12 month plan. Quarterly & semester payments may also be arranged through the Business Office. Catholic $8,875 Non-Catholic $10,775 International $16,100 Tuition Assistance Program - Work Grant Mount St. Mary Catholic High School offers a needs based tuition assistance program called Work Grant. The application is processed through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. Online applications are available in English and Spanish. Apply online at: beginning December 1, 2018 for the school year. If you already have an account with FACTS for tuition payments you may log in with that information. If not, you will start an account. The application will request 2018 tax returns, however, you can use your 2017 return and copies of your 2018 W-2 forms to complete the application. The deadline to apply is April 1, Families must re-apply each year. A Work Grant work session preference form will be found in your child s enrollment packet which is mailed following their acceptance for admission. Please complete and submit this form to the Business Office as soon as possible. This does not guarantee your acceptance to the work grant program, however, it will put your student high on the list of preference for work grant assignments. Tuition assistance awards will be determined after the deadline (April 1, 2019) and each family will be notified in May by letter or to inform them on the amount of assistance their child/children will receive, along with the Work Grant contract and work schedule that must be signed and returned promptly to the MSM business office.

5 PLUSS PROGRAM The Mount offers the PLUSS Program to provide support for students who have been diagnosed with learning disabilities.
