7 From the desk of the Principal Popular Medical College, the iconic concern of the "Popular Group" was established in 2010 with a vision to develop a centre of excellence for medical education in the country. To achieve this vision we started our mission by recruiting the adequate number of highly qualified and experienced teaching staff to make an amazing team of teachers to combat the challenge of building up an institution of repute. Likewise the recruited support service personnel are kind, sympathetic, helpful, cheerful and caring to the students. The college is presently housed in its campus at Dhanmondi with hostel facilities nearby. The college has developed suitable facilities for curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities with the untiring missionary effort of the faculties. In near future, the college will move to a larger campus, within the city, not far away from the present one and will be able to provide further expansion of the facilities. It is truly exciting and humbling to be a part of such a dynamic institution that prides itself as a place where students truly are at the heart of all we do. We shall be delighted to have you as a member of our enrollment which consists of promising young stars who exhibit high personal values, uphold moral values and are passionate and strongly committed to become "doctors with a difference". I believe it is possible when love for this noble profession is created by an insight force of oneself and not driven by any other force of compulsion.
