2 Becoming a Barrister - Sixth Form Seminar with Inner Temple on 2nd November Becoming a Barrister Seminar Inner Temple are holding a Becoming a Barrister seminar at the Inner Temple on 2 November, which will give you the opportunity to ask barristers and judges questions about their careers, to receive advice on how to become a barrister and to take part in case law workshops you can even try on a wig and gown if you d like to! The dress code is smart casual. The Inner Temple is one of the four Inns of Courts; the organisations responsible for some of the education and training of aspiring barristers. The National Flash Fiction Youth Competition 2019 Content of newsletter section The National Flash Fiction Youth Competition 2019, organised by the Department of English, University of Chester, and Flash: The International Short-Short Story Magazine is open for entries. Stories must be no more than 360 words (including the title) and be by current AS-level, A-level, or Scottish Higher students aged and studying in the UK. The competition is free to enter and the prizes will be paid in Waterstones vouchers (1st Prize: 100, 2nd Prize: 75, 3rd Prize: 50).
