No matter which path you choose after graduation, you will be well-prepared to begin a professional career or to enter a graduate school program. Our faculty are world-class researchers who choose to primarily focus on teaching and preparing you for the 1 (or 15!) careers you may have over the course of a lifetime. At Beloit, you ll be challenged to build a transcript and a résumé at the same time. 1/3 of students choose to double major. All students demonstrate what they ve learned inside the classroom, outside of it, by fulfilling a Liberal Arts in Practice credit. There are many ways to earn the LAP credit: Internships Research-related fieldwork Community engagement projects Designated off-campus study programs A class + a beyond the classroom experience A self-designed project + a presentation 98% of students report that Beloit is a place where they ve been challenged academically. $400,000 awarded each year for student projects.
