5 u Awarded 809 degrees at the May 2017 commencement ceremony which included 185 master s degrees and 88 doctoral degrees. u Established a new master s degree program in Pharmacology. u Developed innovations in bachelor s degree Exercise Science and Integrated Technology programs responding to modern workplace demands. u Educated more than 4,000 students, including strong partnerships with area schools, community colleges and corporate partners. u Expanded to 11 the fully online degree and certificate programs offered. u Achieved a 91% retention rate from first to second semester for first-year, full-time students. u Achieved a full-time equivalency (FTE) of 3,779 students the highest in our history while maintaining a student-to-faculty ratio of 14.5 to 1. u Increased participation rate of students who completed at least one internship, practicum or clinical to a nationally acclaimed 95% ACHIEVEMENTS 5 Delivering Educational Excellence

7 u Increased the goal of the Comprehensive Campaign from $21M to $30M to include the construction of a new facility for the College of Business. u Grew the endowment to $17.3M. u Exercised fiscal discipline and collaboration in the budget process to include significantly higher institutional scholarships and extended strategic learning enhancements within a balanced year-end budget. u Generated more than $125M in community economic impact. u Improved Financial Aid Office services by increasing availability of counselors, offering financial literacy training to all incoming students, and employing a more effective data-driven approach to crafting financial aid packages. u Implemented a comprehensive Human Resources Information System to streamline and enhance employee services. u Enhanced campus safety through the development of a comprehensive Campus Emergency Response and Communications Plan. u Increased experiential and interprofessional learning opportunities through the acquisition of the Marshall Road Sciences Laboratory. u Enhanced campus technology to improve and expand services, including upgrades to campus bandwidth and wireless technology, the implementation of a new virtual infrastructure, and the development of a comprehensive disaster recovery plan ACHIEVEMENTS Artist rendering of the new College of Business Building Strengthening University Resources 7

In supporting our region, Husson will develop and execute programs that attest to the positive influence Husson and its faculty, staff and students have in enhancing the quality of life of individuals, families, businesses and society.

9 u Strengthened the University s brand identity and reach through the development of an integrated marketing and enrollment management strategy. u Increased alumni event participation by offering new programs based on shared interests and preferred ways to engage with the University. u Offered specialized events designed to engage alumni. u Increased attendance at Gracie Theatre shows and enhanced student experiential learning activities in theatre operations and event management. u Expanded educational program offerings for students and businesses in the Dyke Center for Family Business. u Hosted the 1st annual Women s Leadership Summit, which fostered interaction and dialogue between students and female leaders from higher education institutions across Maine ACHIEVEMENTS 9 Enriching Community Engagement

The University will link its resources across boundaries to create these transformative life experiences.

11 u Improved campus living through the construction of three townhouses and renovations to traditional residential halls. u Increased study abroad opportunities. u Expanded the Husson Experience program through the Learning Center to include specialized support for graduate students. u Contributed more than 17,000 service hours to the greater community through student organizations, athletic teams and academic program groups. u Developed holistic new approaches to wellness initiatives with a focus on preventative care, social skills, sexual health, suicide prevention, substance abuse prevention and more ACHIEVEMENTS 11 u Increased the number of companies interviewing on-campus to strengthen the link between student career development and professional employment goals. u Celebrated success in Athletics: Field Hockey won the NAC Championship three out of the last four years; Women s and Men s Basketball won the NAC Championships in 2016 and 2017; Men s Golf won the NAC Championship for 12 of the last 14 years; Football won the ECFC Championship in 2014, 2016 and Men s Indoor Track was introduced in Architectural rendering of the new 7,100 square foot, $3 million wellness learning center to be built. The new facility will be devoted to delivering health services to Husson students, and health education opportunities to those enrolled in the University s nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy and graduate counseling programs. Integrating Student Life

12 Helping to manage $250,000 of real money in stock market investments as part of Husson s Carlisle Fund was a highlight of my time at Husson. As a result of all of these experiences, I received a full-time job offer a year before I graduated.
