8 For Availing Sport Scholarships the event must be recognized by any one of the following: Olympic games by IOC World championships under international sports federation(ioa and/or MYASrecognized/affiliated games). Asian games by Olympic Council of Asia. Asian championship organized by International Federation of concerned game (recognized / affiliated b y MYAS and/or IOA). Common wealth, SAF and Afro Asian Games. Paralympics games (recognized/affiliated b y IOC and / or MYAS) Note:- In absence of relevant sports certificates, scholarship application will not be considered.

9 Category D: Scholarships for Military and Paramilitary Forces 10 scholarship on Tuition Fees to service men (The scholarship is not applicable to Ex-Servicemen). Category E: Any student who has done BBA/BCA/B.Sc./B.Com./B. Tech. /B.Tech (H) from ITM University or ITM University & seeks admission in MBA/MCA/M.Tech./M.Sc..at ITM university, will get a relaxation of Rs. 10,000/- per year. For B.Sc. course if one seeks admission in M.Sc. will get relaxation of 10 of Tuition Fee in First year only. If parent (Earning) of a student of ITM university passes away, during the terms of the course, He / She will get relaxation of 50 intuition fee per year. Staff working in ITM University can avail a benefit of relaxation on tuition fee if their ward takes admission in ITM University as follows:- Facult Class III y and Class IV 25 off on tuition fee per year 50 of tuition fee per year Scholarship on the basis of Humble Economic Background: The candidate has to submit supporting documents i.e. income certificate to earn the scholarship at the time of admission only for being eligible for the scholarship at entry level. A candidate will be eligible to claim scholarship only if one produces valid income certificate and bank related statement and Income Tax Return. The scholarship may be awarded to only 10 of the No. of student admitted in the course. This scholarship would be applicable every year subject to submission of valid income certificate every year. General Rules for Awarding Scholarships: The mentioned criteria are only the eligibility to apply for scholarship. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility are required to fill scholarship form. In absence of relevant & original marksheets, the admission and scholarship application will not be considered. Final decision of granting scholarship is with the Admission Board of the ITM University. The mentioned scholarships are for 1 st year only and the scholarship amount will be calculated only on tuition fees. Entry level scholarship will be adjusted in the fee of II nd semester. Other scholarships will be awarded during annual function. 1 st year onwards Chancellor s scholarship will be awarded based on merit of previous year results as per the University scholarship policy. Any student found involved in any act of indiscipline and/or practicing unfair means may be debarred from availing scholarship at anytime without any notice. The students fulfilling more than one eligibility criteria will be considered only as per higher preference mentioned in the scheme and will be eligible for only one type of scholarship in year. Under no circumstances any student can apply for more than one scholarship or any other financial aid from the University. In case of engineering courses, marks obtained in PCM will be used to calculate qualifying percentage for awarding scholarships. For other courses total marks obtained in all subjects will be used to arrive at the above percentage. In case when beneficiary scores YGPA on basis of SGPA (two semesters of current academic year and no backlogs up to current semester) / Percentage in upper scholarship band, he/ she will

11 be promoted to upper scholarship band for that year only, similarly for the lower scholarship band. No scholarship would be awarded to Nursing, Agriculture, Art and Fashion & Education courses. No Scholarship would be awarded on JEE Merit of a candidate (Applicable to Engineering students only). Policy for Continuationof Scholarship Chancellor Scholarship is granted every year on the basis of annual performance of a student in the university examination as per the scholarship policy.
