2 Year 12 entry to a Flinders degree At Flinders we recognise that every student is an individual and that what works for one might not work for another. That s why we provide various entry options for you to enter University and your preferred course. For 2011 entry Flinders has more places available for applicants than ever before. Traditional competitive entry Guaranteed entry The majority of Year 12 applicants enter University via the traditional, competitive entry method, where offers are made to eligible applicants with the highest ATAR s (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) until our enrolment numbers are reached. Check out previous year s ATAR cut-offs below as a guide for 2011 entry. Talk to us if you have any queries about where to expect the final ATAR cut-off ranks to be. Achieve an ATAR rank equal or above the published score and Flinders will guarantee you your place to start Uni. All you need to do is ensure you have your Flinders preferences ranked highest and you will be offered the highest Flinders preference to which you are eligible in Pathway entry If you haven t achieved the results you expected then remember there are a number of pathways to your preferred degree. At Flinders you can start off in one degree and move across to your degree of choice later. We make it simple for you. All undergraduate students can apply for internal transfer into another Flinders course (with the exception of a small number of exempt courses). With Flinderslink if you achieve a nominated Grade Point Average (GPA) Flinders will guarantee you a place in your nominated degree. In many cases students gain credit for their previous University studies. 2
