(a) SCIENTIFIC OFFICER (WATER) GRADE 11, GRADE LEVEL 08 A Degree in Physics, Geophysics Chemistry from a recognised University. (b) SCIENTIFIC OFFICER (MINING) GRADE 11, GRADE LEVEL 08 A Degree from a recognised University in any of the following disciplines:- I. Geology Geology with Mineralogy, Chemistry, Physics Biology as subsidiary I Mining Geology with Statistics Mathematics as subsidiary IV. Analytical Chemistry V. Metallurgy VI. Ore Dressing V Geophysics (c) SCIENTIFIC OFFICER (HEALTH) GRADE 11, GRADE LEVEL 08 A Bachel s degree ( its equivalent) in Medical and appropriate Natural Sciences. 4. GEOLOGIST, GRADE LEVEL 09 I. A Degree in Geology, Mining Explaty Geology Geology with Elementary Topographical Surveying as a subsidiary subject from a recognised University A Degree and Post-Graduate Diploma in Geochemistry Geology with specialisation in Geochemistry from a recognised University 5. 2 I. A Degree in Statistics as a special subject from a recognised University. A Degree from a recognised University in Social Science Mathematics without Statistics plus a Post-Graduate Diploma in Statistics I A pass in the Final Examination of the Institute of Statisticians 6. STATISTICAL OFFICER, GRADE LEVEL 07 I. Stage I Certificate of the Institute of Statisticians, London General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two subjects passed at one sitting three subjects at two sittings preferably including Mathematics I Ordinary National Diploma in Statistics obtained from an accredited Institution plus at least two years post-qualification cognate experience f any of the above IV. Diploma Certificate in Statistics of the University of Ibadan, V. Stage 11 Certificate of the Institute of Statisticians, London VI. Higher National Diploma in Statistics from an accredited Institution. 7. DATA PROCESSING OFFICER, GRADE LEVEL 07 I. Ordinary National Diploma in Computer Studies Data Processing from a recognised Institution plus at least two years post-qualification cognate experience Higher National Diploma in Data Processing Computer Science from a recognised Institution 8. INFORMATION OFFICER, GRADE 11 GRADE LEVEL 08 A Degree preferably in Arts, Journalism, Social Sciences English Language from a recognised University. 9. SENIOR STATE COUNSEL GRADE LEVEL 10 A candidate who is legally qualified to practice as a Barrister and Solicit in Nigeria plus at least one year post-call cognate experience. 10. QUANTITY SURVEYOR GRADE 11, GRADE LEVEL 08 I. A Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised University. A Pass in the Final Examination of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveys 2

A Degree in Urban and Regional Planning Town Planning from a recognised Institution A Pass in the Final Examination of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners I A Professional Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning Town Planning from any recognised Institution (not equivalent to Higher National Diploma Certificate). Above equivalent qualifications must be registrable with the Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC): 12. ARCHITECTS, GRADE 11, GRADE LEVEL 08 I. Bachel of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Architecture obtained from a University recognised by the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria. A Pass in the Final I Examination of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (N.I.A.). I A Pass in the Final I Examination of the Royal Institute of British Architects (R.I.B.A.) Above equivalent qualifications must be registrable with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) 13. EDUCATION OFFICER GRADE 11, GRADE LEVEL 08 I. A Degree in Education in any other relevant subject from a recognised University. A Degree in a relevant subject plus a Post-Graduate Diploma Certificate in Education 14. (a) HIGHER TECHNICAL OFFICER (ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, AND CIVIL), GRADE LEVEL 08 I. Higher National Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering from a recognised Institution Full Technological Certificate (Craft) of the City and Guilds Institute of London in Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering related subjects I Ordinary National Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering related subject from a recognised Institution plus at least four years post qualification cognate experience f II and III above. 3

Higher National Diploma in Highways Engineering any other relevant subject from a recognised Institution Full Technological Certificate (Craft) of the City and Guilds Institute of London in any relevant subject I Ordinary National Diploma in Highways Engineering any other relevant subject from a recognised Institution plus at least four years post qualification cognate experience f qualifications II and I (c) HIGHER TECHNICAL OFFICER (TOWN PLANNING), GRADE LEVEL 08 I. IV. A Pass in the Intermediate Examination of the Town Planning Institution plus at least three years post qualification cognate experience. Part I of the Advanced Course at the School of Survey, Oyo plus at least four years post qualification cognate experience f II to IV above V. Intermediate Royal Institute of British Architects I Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Architectural Technology from a recognised Institution Full Technological Certificate (Craft) of the City and Guilds of London Institute in relevant subject plus at least one year post qualification cognate experience f any of the qualifications above. (d) TECHNICAL OFFICER (BUILDING), GRADE LEVEL 07 Ordinary National Diploma in Building from a recognised Institution plus at least one year post qualification cognate experience. (e) TECHNICAL OFFICER (SURVEY), GRADE LEVEL 07 I. Ordinary National Diploma in Survey other related subjects from a recognised Institution I IV. Full Technological Certificate (Craft) of the City and Guilds Institute of London Survey related subject Part I of the Advanced Course at the School of Survey, Oyo plus one year post qualification cognate experience f any of the qualifications above Part II of the Advanced Course at the School of Survey, Oyo. AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH OFFICER GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 A Degree in any of the Agricultural Natural Sciences from a recognised University. 21. AGRICULTURAL OFFICER GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 A Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Agricultural Economics, Hticulture, Crop Science Crop Production from a recognised University. 22. HIGHER AGRICULTURAL SUPERINTENDENT, GRADE LEVEL 08 Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agriculture from a recognised Institution. 23. VETERINARY OFFICER, G.L 12 (CONMESS EQUIVALENT) A candidate possessing a basic degree in Veterinary Medicine, who has been registered by the Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN) and successfully completed the National Youth Service Cps (NYSC) Scheme obtained Exemption Certificate of NYSC. 24. VETERINARY LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 A candidate possessing the Technologists Associate Membership of the Institute of Medical Labaty (A.I.M.L.T) any other equivalent qualification registrable with the Institute of Medical Labaty Technologist of Nigeria. 25. AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 A Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering Structural Engineering from a recognised University. 26. FOREST OFFICER GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 A Degree in Festry, Fest Resources Management, Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Zoology, Botany/Biology, Fest Engineering, Fest Utilization, Timber Technology Wood Science from a recognised University. 27. HIGHER FOREST SUPERINTENDENT, GRADE LEVEL 08 7

PROCUREMENT OFFICER GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 A Degree in Purchasing and Supply, Accounting, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Banking and Finance, Economics any other relevant degree. 29. ACCOUNTANT GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 A Degree in Accountancy from a recognised University. 30. AUDITOR GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 A Degree in Accountancy from a recognised University. 31. SURVEYOR GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 A Degree in Land Surveying, Survey Engineering, Geodetic Science Geodetic Engineering from a recognised University any equivalent qualifications registrable with the Surveys Registration Council of Nigeria (SURCON). 32. LANDS OFFICER GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 I. A Degree in Estate Management Land Economy from a recognised University I A Pass in the Final Examination of the Auctioneers and Estate Agents Institute A Pass in the Final Examination of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveys and Valuers. 33. HIGHER ESTATE OFFICER, GRADE LEVEL 08 I. Higher National Diploma (HND) in Estate Management obtained from a recognised Institution. ESTATE OFFICER, GRADE LEVEL 07 I. A Pass in the Intermediate Examination of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveys I. A Pass in the Intermediate Examination of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveys and Valuers. General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two subjects passed at one sitting three subjects passed at two sittings preferably including Geography, Economics Mathematics plus at least two years post qualification cognate experience. 35. FIRE OFFICER GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 A first degree in Building, Mechanical Electrical Engineering from a recognised University who has passed the prescribed Competitive Selection Examination and the appropriate Medical/Fitness test. 36. FIRE SUPERINTENDENT, GRADE LEVEL 07 The Graduate Membership Diploma of the Institute of Fire Engineers. 37. HIGHER REGISTRAR OF DEEDS, GRADE LEVEL 08 I. Intermediate Certificate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrats General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two subjects passed at one sitting three subjects passed at two sittings 9

MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST, GRADE LEVEL 09 (CONHESS EQUIVALENT) I. A Degree in Medical Labaty Science registrable with the Medical Labaty Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) plus one year post registration cognate experience A Degree equivalent in relevant disciplines plus Associate of Medical Labaty Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN). 45. HEALTH EDUCATION OFFICER GRADE II, GRADE LEVEL 08 (CONHESS EQUIVALENT) I.
