1 It s not just a class... It s a start to a Career! Proudly serving Greeneville City and Greene County Schools Our Vision: A satellite campus for the Tennessee College of Applied Technology economy To prepare our students to compete in a local and global
2 These students attended the CNA program at Greene Technology Center and immediately entered the nursing program with the TN College of Applied Technology. -Kyndra: The LPN program has been a breeze after having already learned a lot of the information from Health Science classes taken at the center. -Emmaleigh: The Health Science offerings at the center prepared me for future college nursing programs and provided me with a focus and taught me determination. Phillip Helbert, Quick Lane Manager at Gateway Ford, attended the Automotive Repair program at GTC. If I had not attended the Greene Technology Center I would not be in the automotive industry now. The experience I gained in the Automotive Repair program led me to Nashville Auto Diesel College and then led to this job with Gateway Ford. -Ashley: Taking the classes at the center helped me decide what I wanted to do after high school. Taking the CNA class there gave me the opportunity to get ahead of other people my age and automatically get accepted into the TCAT LPN class. Heather Dodds Mullins teaches Kindergarten at EastView Elementary School. Being in the Early Childhood Education Class at the Greene Technology Center set the foundation I needed to pursue an education major in college. It provided lots of practical experience working with children. Andrew Miller, current Tennessee Tech student, attended the Machine Tool Technology and Pre-Engineering programs at GTC. As a third year Engineering major at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, I am increasingly thankful for the coursework I completed at the Greene Technology Center while a student at Greeneville High School. My time at the Center truly prepared me to be successful in the rigorous engineering program at Tennessee Tech. 2
