2 Admission Schedule BA/BSc/BCom/BFA (Graphic Design) (Hons) 4-Year Degree Progr 2018 Applications for admission to Undergraduate Classes are invited from to GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION 1. ONLINE Admission Forms can be filled and submitted at GCU Lahore website ( Processing fee Rs. 1050/- for online application shall be submitted to any branch of HBL. The candidate shall take a printout of his/her application and submit/courier to Admission Officer, Registrar Office, GC University Lahore by the last date to submission of applications. 2. Admission Forms along with Prospectus are also Rs. 1000/- at HBL GC University Lahore Branches during banking hours. 3. The last date for submission of Application Forms is Tuesday, (during banking hours). 4. Candidates applying for more than one category/ group shall submit a separate admission form for each category/ group. 5. If a student submits a fake or forged document at the time of admission and is proven guilty at any stage during his study, his admission shall be cancelled. The University reserves the right to take legal action against such a student. 6. The applicant is required to write his/her ne and father/guardian s ne as per his/her Matriculation certificate. 7. The applicant is also required to write down his/ her correct postal address, , landline and mobile phone numbers. 8. In case of Sports and Co-Curricular Activity/ Special Category, the candidate shall submit a prescribed coloured form along with General (white) Admission Form for each category. All supporting documents related to Sports, Co-Curricular Activities and Special Activities is compulsory to attach with the Admission Form. OR 9. Merit lists and other announcements will be available on GCU website: and facebook/gcu.edu. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED 10. Candidate must attach the following documents with the Admission Form taken from ONLINE, and HBL, GCU Lahore branches: Sr No Documents Quantity i. Photographs with white background (size 1.5 x 1.5 ) 02 ii. Photocopy of Intermediate/ A Level (Grading) Certificate 04 iii. Photocopy of Matriculation/ O Level Certificate 01 iv. Character Certificate from the last Institution attended. 01 v. Student s CNIC/ B-Form 01 vi. Father/ Guardian s CNIC 01 For Overseas Pakistanis: Please attach the following documents in addition to the requirements mentioned at serial number 10 (For Non-English speaking countries, the translation of all the following documents are required in the English language): a. Employment certificate or proof of business, residential status in the foreign country of the parents. b. Copy of passport and a valid visa (for Non English speaking country, translation is required) c. Supporting documents e.g., Social Security Certificate, Medical Card, Driving License, Tax payment receipts and any other legal proof of residence. 11. Clearly mention the category on the Admission Form at top of Page # Candidates, applying on the basis of MINORITY are required to provide proof of Minority and it must be attached with the Admission Form. Please write MINORITY on the top right corner of the Admission Form. 13. The disabled candidates shall attach the "Disability Certificate" with their Admission Form, obtained from the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department. The candidate must write - "Special Candidate" on the top right corner of the Admission Forms. 14. Candidates belonging to AJK Northern Areas are required to submit their application for the nomination with residence certificate to Secretary Nominations Board Govt. of AJK Muzaffarabad Northern Areas, Gilgit through the Secretary Nomination Board Northern Areas Gilgit till the

3 last date to apply. Such candidates must pass Intermediate from their own province/area. 15. Candidates belonging to FATA are required to submit their application form for nomination through State F.R Division Islabad to the University till the last date to apply. Candidate must have pass Intermediate from a school located in FATA. 16. OVERSEAS PAKISTANIS children are required to submit Admission Form alongwith proof of valid residential status of their father/ mother and other necessary documents (valid visa). Candidates must write Overseas Pakistanis on the top right corner of the Admission Form. 17. Foreign Students are required to send their applications through Ministry of Education Islabad to the University till the last date to apply. 18. An applicant from other than Punjab Province is required to submit his documents for nomination alongwith the domicile certificate from the Province concerned to the University till the last date to apply and write Other Province on the top right corner of the Admission Form. The applicant must qualify his Intermediate from a province other than Punjab. 19. Application submitted after the due date or incomplete forms shall not be entertained. 20. The right of admission will be forfeited in case of absence in the interview or non-submission of dues within due date. Note:- There is limited space for parking on Cpus. Candidates are, therefore, advised not to bring their vehicles/cars to the Cpus. The written test is the mandatory requirement for admission to the following Majors: English Literature, Political Science, BFA Graphic Design and Physical Education Sports Sciences Written/screening test fee Rs. 200/- will be applicable on each test. Test fee voucher can be collected at the time of form submission in the Admission Office, GCU Lahore. Test voucher is also available on GCU website separately.
