MU OET B.Tech 2017 Last Date to Apply February last week, 2017 About MU OET Engineering MU OET 2017 B.Tech admission will be based on MU OET which is conducted for admission to the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses. MU OET 2017 (Manipal University Online Entrance Test) is conducted by Manipal University. Manipal Group conducts a common engineering entrance exam for admission into the three engineering institutes which are MIT, SMU and MUJ. MU OET Participating Institutes: For the Convenience of the students there is a common admission process that is a common application form, entrance exam and counselling for B.Tech Admission in Manipal Institute of Technology - MIT (Manipal University, Karnataka) o MIT is one of the top ranked engineering institutions in the country and has a background of excellence in research and innovation. Academic Qualification for B. Tech: Pass in Class 12 Exam, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent. The applicant must have passed 10+2 or Equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional. The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects. There is no minimum age requirement for the student to appear in MU OET Academic Qualification for B. Tech (Lateral Entry): The candidates should have done 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government. OR Candidate should have passed BSc Degree from a recognised University with at least 45% marks and passed 12 standards with Mathematics as a subject. Register: The candidates will have to first register on the Official website of Manipal. Fill the Application form: The candidate has to fill the application form giving Basic Information, Contact Information and Educational Qualification. Pay the Application Fee: Candidates can pay the MU OET 2017 Application fee through Credit card/ Net banking or through Demand Draft. o Demand Draft: The Demand Draft has to be made in favour of Manipal University, payable at Manipal or Udupi. Selection of Foreign/NRI Category candidates: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. MU OET Engineering Exam pattern MU OET 2017 will consist of total 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) in English based on 10+2 syllabus followed by major 10+2 Boards/Universities. Each question having four responses labeled as A, B, C and D out of the 4 responses candidate have to choose the correct and most appropriate answer. MU OET 2017 for B.Tech is of 2 hours 30 minutes duration. There is no negative marking for the wrong answer or unanswered questions. MU OET 2017 Test Score: The final score will be displayed on the test screen immediately after the test. The candidate should acknowledge the score in the print out of the score card in the presence of the invigilator.
