1 College of Engineering, Pune (An Autonomous Institute of Government of Maharashtra) Instructions to Candidates reporting to College of Engineering, Pune [COEP] Direct Second Year Engineering Admission Academic Year Reporting Dates: 31/08/2016 to 03/09/2016 Time: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm 1. All students have to report to the College of Engineering Pune, Main Auditorium. 2. Information about fee structure and payment of fees is available on institute website. 3. Candidates must do online payment towards the COEP admission fees, have to bring five copies of transaction statement. Please refer to the following link for fee structure and online payment process: 4. All students should carry the Allotment Letter and Seat Acceptance Printout along with the following list of mandatory original documents and additional two sets of self attested photocopies to be submitted at the time of reporting. Sr. No. Type of Candidate 1 All Candidates Attested True Copies of Documents to be Attached Statement of marks obtained at SSC or its Equivalent Examination. Statement of marks obtained at the Qualifying Examination (Diploma / B.Sc.) for each attempt in Final Year/Semesters. School Leaving Certificate after passing Diploma. Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate. Equivalance Certificate from MSBTE $, if necessary. Domicile Certificate * of Candidate indicating that he/she is Domiciled in the State of Maharashtra. If the candidate fails to submit Domicile Certificate, then the 2 Type A Candidates candidate has to produce the Birth Certificate / Leaving Certificate in which the Place of Birth should be in the state of Maharashtra. Domicile Certificate * of Candidate or of Father/Mother of Candidate indicating that he/she is Domiciled in the State of 3 Type B Candidates Maharashtra.

2 Certificate from the employer in the Proforma A stating that Father/Mother of the Candidate who is a Central Government / 4 Type C Candidates Govt. of India undertaking employee is presently posted in Maharashtra. Certificate from the employer in the Proforma B-1 stating that Father/Mother of the Candidate who is a Maharashtra State Government / Maharashtra State Government undertaking 5 employee is presently posted in Maharashtra. Type D Candidates Proforma B-2 for whose Father or Mother is retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking. Certificate stating that Candidate belongs to the disputed border 6 area in Proforma G1. Type E Candidates Certificate stating that the mother tongue of the Candidate is Marathi in Proforma G2. 7 Backward Class Caste Certificate Candidates Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate ** belonging to S.C./S.T. Backward Class 8 Candidates Caste Certificate belonging to VJ/ DT Caste Validity Certificate ** NT(A)/ NT(B)/ Non Creamy Layer valid upto 31st March 2017 NT(C)/NT(D) /OBC/SBC Categories 9 EBC Candidates Income Certificate of Parents issued by Competent Authority of Govt. Of Maharashtra having Annual Income upto 1 Lacs. All these Documents are required to be verified with the originals by the Admission authority when the Candidate reports to the institute for confirmation of Admission after obtaining the allotment. No Admission will be confirmed unless all the original documents are submitted for verification. 1. Candidates who have secured admission under TFWS seat category have to submit in original the Income certificate stating that his/her parent s annual income is less than Rs. 6.0 lakhs from all sources from the appropriate competent authority of the Maharashtra State. 2. Candidates are also required to submit in original the notarized education gap certificate (if applicable) on Rs. 100/- non-judicial stamp.

3 3. Candidates who do not have Caste/Tribe validity certificate issued by the competent authority, should produce notarized Proforma-H on Rs. 100/- nonjudicial stamp paper as per the format given below:

4 4. Candidate reporting to COEP is also required to submit the notarized anti ragging format on Rs. 100/- non-judicial stamp paper as per the format given below( The candidate can fill this information at their end and submit the printout of the same while reporting to COEP:

5 5. Parent/Guardian of the Candidate admitted to COEP is also required to submit the notarized anti ragging format on Rs. 100/- non-judicial stamp paper as per the format given below:

For hostel admission procedure, refer the following: a) After completion of college admission procedure, the students desirous to seek admission in COEP Hostel should report to hostel office in COEP Hostel Campus and fill the Hostel Application form. b) The last date for submission of Hostel Application form is Saturday, 3 rd September 2016, up to 5.00 PM c) The Hostel Allotment List will be displayed on Hostel Notice board on 4 th September 2016 at 11.00AM.

8 d) The students whose name appears in the allotment list will make online payment of Rs 28,000/- [Hostel Fees Rs 23,000/- plus Hostel Deposit Rs. 5000/-] before 7 th September Note: Regular classes for the students admitted to COEP will start from 6 th Sept Sd/- Director, College of Engineering, Pune
