3 CHARUSAT... A Glimpse Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) has been established through an Act by Government of Gujarat. It is permitted to grant degrees under Section-22 of UGC, Govt. of India. At present, there are seven different institutes falling under the ambit of six different faculties. The programmes offered by these faculties range from Undergraduate (UG) to Ph. D degrees. These faculties, in all, offer 39 different programmes. D B.P.T. B.Sc. (Nursing) GNM CHARUSAT has the vision of entering the league of premier Universities initially in the country and then globally. High Moral Values like Honesty, Integrity and Transparency have been the anchoring foundation of CHARUSAT. Banking on the world class infrastructure and highly quali ed and competent faculty, CHARUSAT is expected to catapult into top 20 Universities in the coming ve years. It is characterized by state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities, innovative teaching methods and highly learned faculty members. The Green Campus spreads over 105 acres of land and is Wi-Fi enabled.

4 CHARUSAT is privileged to have 350 core faculty members, educated and trained in IITs, IIMs and leading Indian Universities, and with long exposure to industry. It awards scholarships to meritorious students. It is also proud of its past students who are employed in prestigious national and multinational corporations. Placement stands at around 85%. Rest 15% of the students go for higher studies and self-employment. In order to align with the global requirements, CHARUSAT has collaborated with internationally reputed organizations like University of Alabama at Birmingham USA, Northwick Park Institute UK, ISRO, BARC, and many more. CHARUSAT has designed curricula for all its programmes in line with the current international practices and emerging requirements. Industrial Visits, Study Tours, Expert Lectures and Interactive IT enabled Teaching Practice form an integral part of the unique CHARUSAT pedagogy. The programmes are credit-based and have continuous evaluation as an important feature. 8 [6] Admission Counseling Program 6.1 Counseling program shall be displayed on website: and on the notice board of the Administration office of Charotar University of Science and Technology. 6.2 Candidates shall have to remain present personally for admission at CHARUSAT, Charusat Campus- Changa at the scheduled date and time. However, if candidate is unable to remain present personally on the date of admission due to serious illness/ accident or any such unavoidable circumstances, his/her guardian could remain present on the prescribed date and time, along with an authority letter. 6.3 Candidate approaching CHARUSAT after his/her scheduled time, shall be given admission to the available seat and branch in the respective category at that point of time, if the admission process is on. 6.4 Before coming for Counseling, the candidate should visit the website: and check the availability of the seats. [7] Preparation of Merit List and Admission: a) The Merit list of eligible applicants shall be prepared as per guidelines of the ACPMEC / ACPC. ( and b) The Admissions will be based on Merit as con rming to guidelines of ACPMEC / ACPC.
