A candidate may apply f three Hons subjects and two General courses depending upon his/her eligibility. Please see Eligibility criteria befe applying courses. B. First click on ONLINE REGISTRATION menu and fill up your personal infmation &academic details. C. Get your REGISTRATION ID AND PASSWORD in your mobile. D. Click on APPLY ONLINE menu and log in using REGISTRATION ID and PASSWORD (to be sent to your mobile no. and keep it f future use) and select Hons &General course f application. 2

Modify personal & academic details if necessary and apply in your desired courses, upload scan copy of Caste /PH certificate (f SC/ST/OBC-A&B/PH candidate) (within 200 KB) and HS mark sheet (within 200 KB) and finally submit the data. F. To Pay Application Fees (Rs. 200/- f Hons and Rs. 100/- f General course) Pay online at any time using Debit/Credit cards, Net banking, wallets, IMPS within specified dates (see Imptant Dates). G. Please take print out of application payment receipt and preserve it f future references. H. If you need any crection in the submitted fm, please click on CORRECTION OF SUBMITTED FORMS menu and then rectify & submit. I. Candidates are not required to submit any documents to the college. J. Candidates applied f Honours/General Courses are requested to wait f publication of Merit in college website and college notice board. Step 2: Steps to be followed after publication of Merit List a) Final Merit Lists along will be displayed on College Notice Board and Website on the date notified. b) See Online Counseling f details (to be notified later on). Step 3: What to do after payment of admission fees (Date of Activation of link f downloading Registration fm will be notified later) a) Log in using APPLICATION ID and PASSWORD and upload your photo, signature and HS admit card. Take print out of your application fm and registration fm. b) Printed Registration Fm and Application Fm (consisting Photo and signature of the candidate) with other requisite documents are to be submitted in college office on the stipulated date to get the Roll No. with Fees Book, Tempary Library Card and Identity Card. c) Taking Roll no. on stipulated date is mandaty failing of which the candidature will be cancelled. d) Students, already enrolled in another College, should get their Admission cancelled from the previous college, befe getting Admission (See Verification f details). 3

4 N.B. a) The admission is provisional, subject to scrutiny and verification of the documents submitted. The provisional admission is liable to be cancelled if student fails to submit documents required by the University. If admission of any such student is not approved by the University, she/he will not be entitled to any refund of fees. b) Selection will be strictly on the basis of merit. c) It is assumed that the infmation furnished in the application is true to the best of the knowledge of the applicant. In case of any false / misleading infmation, the application will be summarily rejected. d) It is also assumed that the applicant is applying voluntarily on his / her own discretion without being influenced by any third party. e) The college authity reserves the rights of admission / rejection of any applicant without assigning any reason whatsoever. f) In case of fraudulent activities / misconduct, observed even at a later stage, a candidate / student may be debarred from the college at the sole discretion of the College Authity and legal action may be initiated. g) 50% of fees (after admission) will be reimbursed to the person who are efficient in Cultural activities (having certificate from Govt. approved Academy) and Spts activities (having certificate of participation/medalist in Subdivision/District/State/National/International level). h) 25% of fees (after admission) will be reimbursed to the person who will participate in NCC and NSS. i) Classes of all female students admitted in 1 st Year (General) course will be held in mning shift (from 8.00 A.M. onwards) and classes of all male students admitted in 1 st Year (General) course will be held in afternoon shift (from 1.00 P.M. onwards) and remaining Honours and General course student should attend class in day shift (10.00 A.M. onwards). j) Bank account is mandaty f all the students willing to take admission in our college. 5 Eligibility: F the purpose of determining eligibility f admission to the Honours / General Course, aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the marks in top-four subjects in der of marks secured by a candidate provided he/she has also passed in English having ful lmarks not being less than 100. However, marks in compulsy Environmental Education/ Studies (ENVE) shall not be taken into account f calculation of aggregate marks. If the subject Environmental Science is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken into account f the purpose of determining the aggregate marks. Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Vocational examination conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development shall be eligible to seek admission to the (General) only (without taking Education and Geography as combination subject). Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Vocational Examination in Business & Commerce conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development shall be eligible to seek admission to the B.Com (General) course of Studies under this University. The students who have passed Higher Secondary equivalent Examination in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2018 are eligible f admission. 8 Merit Index Calculation F Honours Course a) Merit-list of all Honours subjects will be framed on the basis of aggregate percentage of Best Four marks (Except ENVE) + percentage of subject marks opted f Honoursobtained in the H.S (10+2) equivalent examination. F General Course a) Merit-list of all General Course will be framed on the basis of aggregate percentage of Best Four marks (Except ENVE) obtained in the H.S (10+2) equivalent examination. b) Merit List f Computer Science as Ce Course subjectwill be based on aggregate percentage of Best Four marks (Except ENVE) + percentage of marks in Mathematics + percentage of marks in Physics obtained in the H.S (10+2) equivalent examination. c) Merit List f Geography as Ce Course subject will be based on aggregate percentage of Best Four marks (Except ENVE) + percentage of marks in Geography obtained in the H.S (10+2) equivalent examination. d) Merit List f Education as Ce Course subject will be based on aggregate percentage of Best Four marks (Except ENVE) + percentage of marks in Education/Psychology/Philosophy/Mathematics/Sociology/Economics/Political Science / Histyobtained in the H.S (10+2) equivalent examination. e) Merit List f Microbiology as Ce Course subject will be based on aggregate percentage of Best Four marks (Except ENVE) + percentage of marks in Biology/ Bio- Technology+percentage of marks in / Physicsobtained in the H.S (10+2) equivalent examination. The students who have passed Higher Secondary equivalent Examination- 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 are eligible f admission. But their merit index (i.e. percentage of Best Four marks and opted Honours subject marks (f Honours course) and percentage of Best Four marks (f General Course)) will be 10 % f each preceding year i.e. 10 % marks will be deducted f the candidates who have passed the said examination in the year 2017, 20 % marks will be deducted f the candidates who have passed the said examination in the year 2016 and 30 % f the candidates of 2015 and so on. Accding to Calcutta University rules,the candidates who have passed the HS equivalent examination in the year befe 2013 are not eligible f admission. The Compartmental C.C candidates are also eligible f admission through online application. But their total marks will be 5 % extra f each year of appearance in the said examination. 8

13 Verification, enrollment and Admission a) Printed application fm(signed by the candidate with pasted photograph) to be signed by the Profess/Officer at the time of checking. b) Admit card of the Madhyamik Equivalent examination in iginal and two copies selfattested. c) Admit card of the H.S. Equivalent examination in iginal and one copy self-attested. d) Mark-sheet of the Higher Secondary Equivalent Examination in iginal and two copies self-attested. e) Original and two self-attested copies of S.C/ST/Physically Challenged/OBC Certificate (f SC/ST/OBC/PH candidate) from the S.D.O./DM in the name of the candidate. If the said certificate from S.D.O./DM is unavailable, he / she will not be entitled to the reservation facility. f) 3 copies of recent passpt size coloured photograph.
