Relaxation : i) The minimum requirement of 55 % of marks at the Master s Degree level is relaxable for the existing incumbents who are already in the University system. ii) iii) A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master s level for the S.C/S.T. and OBC category candidates. A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. Degree holders, who have passed their Master s Degree prior to 19 th September, Experience : i) At least 15 years of experience as Lecturer (Senior scale) / Lecturer with 8 years experience in Reader s/associate Professor s Grade alongwith experience in educational administration, commensurate with the revised pay scale & designation of the U.G.C. Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of Higher Education, 2 of 6
3 ii) iii) iv) 15 years of Administrative Experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post, Good knowledge of computer in general. Minimum aggregate experience of 5 years in the examination work of University. Preference shall be given to the persons with proven capacity of use of technology in delivery of education. Age: Candidates shall not be less than 45 years of age. Tenure: Appointment shall be for a term of five years or till he attains the age of superannuation whichever is earlier and he shall be eligible for re-appointment by selection on the recommendation of a selection committee constituted for the purpose, for only one more term of five years in the university in which he is serving. The age of Superannuation shall be 58 years. However, in the case of person treated at par-with teachers, the age of superannuation will be 60 years. 2) Director of Innovation, Incubation and Linkages QUALIFICATIONS :(as per Higher and Technical Education Department G.R. No. MIS-2017 / Cr.No.124/2017/Vishi-1 dated ) a. Professor/Principal with minimum aggregate teaching experience of 15 years Research Scientist of Grade-F with minimum aggregated research experience of 10 years Research Scientist or Professional from the Industrial sector with a proven minimum aggregate Industrial / Entrepreneurial experience of 15 years in the process of establishment of an Enterprise / Industry and formation and execution of collaborations / Linkages at National / International level. b. Should have successfully executed two major research / consultancy / Industrial projects out of which at least one should be a collaborative / Joint projects with Linkage at premier National / International University or Institution or Industry. c. Knowledge in the field of Intellectual Property Rights and aspects associated therewith desirable. The appointment of the Director of Innovation, Incubation and Linkages shall be for a term of five years or the age of superannuation, whichever is earlier, and he/she shall be eligible for re-appointment by selection on the recommendation of a selection committee constituted for the purpose, for only one more term of five years in the university in which he/she is serving. Director of Innovation, Incubation and Linkages: Weightage shall be given to the applicants who have published work of high quality and who have succeeded in 3 of 6
4 bringing funds by submitting research projects to various funding agencies such as UGC / CSIR / DST/DBT/TWAS/ISSR/AICTE etc. For the process of selection, the Bio-Data of candidate shall involve duly filled Performance Based Appraisal (PBAS) Proforma based on the API criteria set out for the post of Professor / Principal (Direct Recruitment) in the UGC Regulation dated 30 th June, 2010 and amendments thereof and reprints of five major publications of the candidates. 3) Director, Knowledge Resource Centre QUALIFICATIONS : i. Master s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC 7 point scale and consistently good academic record. ii. At least 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 18 years experience as a college Librarian. iii. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work. iv. Desirable: M. Phil. / Ph. D. degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and manuscript-keeping. For the process of selection, the Bio-Data of candidate shall involve duly filled Performance Based Appraisal (PBAS) Proforma based on the API criteria set out for the post of Professor / Principal (Direct Recruitment) in the UGC Regulation dated 30 th June, 2010 and amendments thereof and reprints of five major publications of the candidates. The appointment of the Director, Knowledge Resource Centre shall be a Full time salaried officer of the university and shall be in-charge of the Knowledge Resource Centre in the university. Director, Knowledge Resource centre: The age of retirement shall be as prescribed by the State Government. NOTES: 1. Candidates who have applied in response to earlier Advertisement No. 6/2017 dated 06/12/2017 of this university for the post of Director of Innovation, Incubation and Linkages need not apply again. But the candidates can submit update academic / administrative record (if any) without prescribed fees. 2. Candidates who have applied in response to earlier Advertisement No.1/2016 dated 30/11 /2016 for the post of Librarian and Advertisement No. 7/2017 dated 06/12/2017 of this university for the post of Director, Knowledge Resource Centre need not apply again. If API is not certified and if candidate wishes to verify API score, from the committee constituted by this University, will have to submit three copies of their proposal in prescribed API Proforma, alongwith separate DD of Rs. 1500/- in favour of Finance and Accounts Officer, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon as a proposal fee on or before the closing date of the Advertisement. He/she should remain present before the committee at own cost alongwith all requisite documents necessary for verification of API, as and when called from the Approval Section of this University. 6. The Standard format of API Score as per latest amendment of UGC is provided on website. [Click here For Revised API proforma as per 4 th Amendment (New UGC Regulation) dated 11 July, 2016 ]. All details therein should be filled. 7. The age of retirement shall be as prescribed by the State Govt. 8. No TA/DA will be paid either for attending the interview or for joining the post. 9. Knowledge of Marathi Language is essential. 10. Qualification and Age shall be considered as on closing date. 11. Candidates from reserved category, who are domiciled out side the Maharashtra State will be treated as Open category candidates as per Govt. G.R. No. CBC-1290/23116/ pra.kra.378/mavaka-5 dated As per provision contained in State Govt. Notification No.SRV.2000/ CR(17/2000) /XII dated 28th March, 2005, issued by General Administration Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, candidates must submit the prescribed declaration of the small family as one of the essential qualifications for recruitment, the prescribed proforma is attached herewith. (Appendix-D) 13. The University reserves its right to fill up or not to fill up the posts or to modify/alter/cancel the advertisement. 14. The candidates who are already in service should apply through proper channel and bring NOC from the present employer if changed at the time of interview, otherwise protection of pay and previous services could not be considered. They should furnish all the relevant information regarding their present service, legal proceeding of complaint, court cases, criminal cases, disciplinary actions, if any, pending in r/o his /her existing appointment / services. The candidate furnishing incorrect or false information shall stand disqualified. Any changes in this information as and when occurred after the submission of application form till the completion of recruitment process should be brought to the notice of the University, failing which the University reserves the right to cancel the candidature and to debar him / her from selection process. If the Candidate appointed in the University services after 1 Nov would be covered under New Defined Contribution Pension Scheme and the existing pension scheme (i.e. Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1982, and Maharashtra Civil Services (Commutation Pension) Rules 1984) and General Provident Fund Scheme will not be applicable as per Government Resolution SENIVE/1005/127/SEVA-4, dated 8 Nov, This rule shall not be applicable to the candidate who is already working in pensionable establishment, subject to the condition mentioned in the G.
