20 MEETINGS OF THE AUTHORITIES OF THE ACADEMY BOARD OF MANAGEMENT The principal organ of the management of The Academy was re-constituted and re-notified Vide No.SDUAHER/KLR/BOM/649/ dated The Board of Management is the principal executive body of The Academy. The Board of Management met four times during the period from April 2011 to March The eighteen meeting of the board was held on 27 th March ACADEMIC COUNCIL Academic Council is the principal academic body of The Academy which was reconstituted and re-notified Vide No.SDUAHER/KLR/ADMN/650/ dated The Academic Council is responsible for the standards of Education, Teaching, Training and Evaluation as well as Research. The tenth meeting of the Academic Council was held on 15 th March FINANCE COMMITTEE The Finance Committee was re-constituted and re-notified on No.SDUU/KLR/FC/429/ dated 11 th February The Finance Committee examines and scrutinizes the accounts maintained by The Academy. The Committee also recommends the budget proposals to the Board of Management. The eighth meeting Finance Committee was held on 28 th February ADVISORY COMMITTEE Advisory committee was re-constituted and re-notified Vide No.SDUU/KLR/ /ADMN/1196/ dated 18 th February, This committee helps in the academic planning and growth of The Academy. The third meeting of the Advisory Committee was held on 20 th February 2011.

21 PLANNING & MONITORING BOARD It is the principal planning body of The Academy and is responsible for the monitoring of the development programmes of The Academy.
