8 Details of Engineering Entrance Examinations 01 JEE Mains Joint Entrance Examination is an all India common entrance examination. This is a compulsory examination to get admission in National Institute of Technology (NIT), Indian institute of Information Technology (IIIT) and for Maharashtra engineering colleges. Eligibility Marking Scheme : 3 hours paper consisting of total 90 questions (30 each on PCM) : 50% marks in PCM in 10+2 : +4 / -1 : 02 JEE Advanced JEE Advanced is the examination which is conducted as a second round of JEE Mains. This examination is conducted to get admission at Indian institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and other premier institutes. Approximately, top 1.5 lakh students of JEE Mains are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Eligibility Marking Scheme : 2 papers of 3 hours each conducted in a same day : Cut-off marks in JEE Mains (or 75% in 12 th Class) : No fixed marking scheme : 8

12 Details of Medical Entrance Examinations 01 AIIMS All India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament, to serve as a nucleus for nurturing excellence in all aspects of health care. AIIMS is one of the most prestigious institutes in India. AIIMS examination is held for the admission of students to the MBBS course offered by the Institution Eligibility Marking Scheme : 3.5 hours online/offline exam consist of total 200 questions (60 each on PCB and 20 on GK) : 60% marks in PCB in 10+2 : +1/-0.33 : 02 AIPMT The All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) is a medical entrance examination in India. This exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in several medical colleges around the country. The workshops that we conduct ranges from vedic mathematics, which helps students to do faster mental calculation to management & finance, which teaches a very important lesson of time and money management. Workshops like aero-modelling and robotics gives a hands-on experience over how things work. These workshops also help students in developing the aptitude towards engineering and technology. Science Project As a part of curriculum, we float science projects for our students. The science project helps student to enhance the ability to learn concepts of science on their own. It is a good exercise where the students research over a certain topic and make working model. Unlike school s science project, students are supposed to present their work in class and demonstrate the working. Science Trip We also take our students on science trips to enhance the academic learning of students. A visit to some science museum or power plant could be of very much use for the students. Mental Aptitude Development Aptitude is a natural talent for the performance of a particular mental task, which, to a certain extent, cannot be gained through knowledge, understanding or training. 17 Foundation Exams 01 NTSE National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship program in India to identify and recognize students with high intellect and academic talent. It is one of the most prestigious exams in India. The examination will consist of Mental ability test (MAT) and Scholastic ability test (SAT). Eligibility Scholarships : 3 hours paper consisting of total 200 questions : All students of class X : 1000 per month to selected candidates : 02 KVPY Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a scholarship program funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, aimed at encouraging students to take up research careers in the areas of basic sciences, engineering and medicine. Eligibility Other exams Scholarships : 3 hours paper consisting of total 120 questions(30 each on PCMB) : Students of class XI with min. 80% in X. : Monthly fellowship of Rs 4000 and annual grant of Rs : 03 NSEJS National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) is examination leading to International Junior Science Olympiads. NSEJS is the first stage of selection of students in the Junior Science Olympiad Programme.
