2 MESSAGE FROM THE VICE-CHANCELLOR I would like to welcome you all to the University of London Undergraduate Fair. These events have been organised centrally in Senate House and its surrounding area, to provide you with an overview of what the federal University provides for its students. Through its federation of 8 members, the University offers more than 4,000 courses each year, covering almost every subject found in any university curriculum. I m confident that from the vast range of courses on offer, you will be able to find one that best suits your interests. You may already have visited some of the member institutions through the University s annual London Taster Course Programme. This event is designed to provide Year students with an insight into life at university, by experiencing the different approaches to learning and teaching used by university academics and by getting a real insight into the additional facilities available. During the Undergraduate Fair you can meet representatives from the federal institutions, gain information regarding the University s many facilities and attend a wide-ranging programme of talks and tours. If you have any further questions, our stewards will be only too happy to help. May I also take this opportunity to thank you for taking time out to visit the University of London and for considering the member institutions as a serious option for further study. 7 CAMPUS TOURS Selected colleges will be offering guided and self-guided tours around some of the college campuses. Please note this does not include tours of individual departments. For more detailed tours, please look at your chosen college s website for information about their own open days or events on other dates throughout the year. Tours of Strand and Guy s campuses run every 30 minutes between :00 to 6:30. Visit the King s College London stand (M0) to check available time slots and to collect a ticket. Visitors should make their own way to the relevant King s campus reception to meet their student ambassador tour guide arriving minutes before their booked time slot. Tours will last approximately 0 minutes. Temple for Strand Campus (Arts & Sciences) London Bridge for Guy s Campus (Health Subjects) Tours leave from the SOAS stand (B3) every 30 minutes starting at 0:30 with the last tour leaving at 6:30. Guided tours of the campus and surrounding buildings will leave from the car park outside the University of London Undergraduate Fair at Senate House, University of London at regular intervals throughout the day. Tours start at 0:00 and the last tour leaves at 6:. Turn left as you exit the Senate House building to find the tour meeting point. Tours will last approximately 4 minutes. Information on self-guided tours of the campus (LSExplorer) will be available at the LSE stand (B0). Students make their own way to the LSE campus. Taking the tube? LSE is approximately minutes walk from: Holborn Temple Tours of two halls of residence, College Hall and International Hall, are available. Collect a ticket for the preferred tour below from the Housing Services stand (M03). Places are limited to 30 per tour and offered on a first-come first-served basis. Visitors to make their own way to the relevant Hall. Tickets will have a map on them to show visitors how to reach each halls of residence. Upon arrival at reception in the Halls, visitors with tickets will be greeted by a member of staff who will give them a tour lasting 0 minutes.
