Not only was the expansive Yar'Adua Centre filled to capacity, the quality of attendees also spoke volumes of the high esteem Nigerians hold the Professor of Islamic Jurisprudence. From the revered Sultan of Sokoto and PresidentGeneral of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III, who was the Royal and Spiritual Father of the occasion, to the former Chief Justice of the Federation, Hon.
