1 CBRIDGE ASSESSMENT INTERNATIONAL EXINATIONS OCT/NOV 2018 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES GCE PRIVATE CANDIDATE REGISTRATION FORM 1. must submit the following: GCE Registration Form Registration fees (payable by cash/knet/credit Card) Photocopy of valid passport and civil id Three recent colored passport size photographs Copy of previous Statement of Results or Statement of Entry NB: 11 years of School studies is required to apply for Equivalence from the Ministry of Private Education, Kuwait. 2. s can only register at one center for any given session. The British Council is not responsible for any clash in the timetable that may occur as a result of registering at more than one center. 3. A private candidate must be at least 16 years of age at the time of the examination. SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS AND SPECIAL NEEDS Special arrangements are made to allow candidates with substantial and long-term disabilities to gain access to the examination venues, demonstrating their attainment in the best possible examination conditions. Any special arrangements like extra time allowance, assistance with reading or writing etc. must be mentioned clearly in the registration form. A Health Form must be submitted along with the supporting recent medical evidence by 29 August STATEMENT OF ENTRY You will receive a Provisional Statement of Entry (SOE) at the time of your registration or ed on the next day. An /sms notification will be sent to you for collection of the final Statement of Entry, Venue letter and CAIE Notice to s. These documents should be collected from the British Council at least two weeks before the commencement of the examination session. The Venue letter will also be ed to you two weeks before the start of the examination session and will be available on our website too. A map will be attached to the Venue Letter for your reference. 3 CBRIDGE ASSESSMENT INTERNATIONAL EXINATIONS OCT/NOV 2018 CAIE OCT/NOV 2018 EXS PROCESSES STEP BY STEP GUIDE EX REGISTRATION INFORMATION receives information via the British Council. REGISTRATION completes and submits the registration form along with the required documents to the British Council before the entry closing date. REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION receives a Provisional Statement of Entry at the time of registration or ed the next day. STATEMENT OF ENTRY collects the original Statement of Entry, Venue Letter, CAIE Notice to the s and IT Exam details at least two weeks before the start of the exams from the British Council. AICT PRACTICAL EXS Information Technology (Practical) will be conducted on 09 Oct 2018 Information Technology (Advanced Practical) will be conducted on 18 Oct 2018 Statement of Entry will include the final confirmed AICT practical venue, date and timings WRITTEN EXS Written examinations take place as per the Cambridge timetable. For all examination sessions, candidates must bring their valid Identity Document and the original Statement of Entry to the examinations venue. MARKING After the entire examination session, the Examination Services Team returns all the examination materials to Cambridge for marking along with amendments to candidate's names, special considerations or notification of special circumstances. STATEMENTS OF RESULT (SOR) collects SOR from British Council by late January FREE ENDMENTS TO CENTRE OR CANDIDATE DETAILS can submit a request for amending centre or candidate details for free before 01 February ENQUIRIES ABOUT RESULTS (EAR) to submit their requests to recheck/remark their grades by 19 February CAIE SENDS CERTIFICATES TO THE BRITISH COUNCIL collects the original Certificate from the British Council by end of March 2019.

We have clear procedures and a code of conduct for all exams conducted by the British Council in order to ensure this.
