JOSS The counselling will be done through JOSSA JOSSA The Joint Seat Allocation is an agency established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to manage and regulate and seat allocation based on JEE Main 2018 All India Rank. The marks of 12 th Board Exam will not be considered as selection criteria for admission in NITS, through JEE Main only JEE Mains Exam marks will be considered for ranking and admission. The 12 th Board marks are considered only Eligibility criteria and not the selection criteria. To fulfill the Eligibility criteria a student score minimum 75% or should be in Top 20 percentile in the respective state Board Exam. Candidate of JEE (Main) have to apply online only. There is no printed application form for JEE (Main). Number of Attempts Two number of attempts which a candidate can be avail at JEE (Mains) shall be limited to 03 (Three). Type of Examination JEE (Main) shall have two paper, paper I (B.E/B.Tech) and paper II (B.Arch/S Planning) candidates may takes paper I or Paper II or both. For candidates belonging to SC/ST Categories the qualifying marks would be 65 percent marks in class 12 th Board Exam.

5 VIT UNIVERSITY VIT University formally called Vellore Engineering College is an Indian Institute of higher education and a Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. Founded in 1984, as Vellore Engineering College, by Mr. G Vishwanathan, the institution offers 18 undergraduate and 34 postgraduate programmes and draws students from 47 countries as well as from every state in India. Eligibility Candidates will be eligible to apply for VITEEE if they fulfill the following requirements. Nationality Must be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National Age Limit Candidate s age should not be more than 22 years. Qualifying Examination Candidates should have either completed or shall be appearing in qualifying examination such as CBSE, ICSE or 10+2 system of higher secondary by state boards. Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination Candidates must score an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination. MIT contains 16 academic departments and awards undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees. Established in 1957 in Manipal, Karnataka, India, MIT is one of the first self-financed colleges in India. 8 DELHI TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), is a premier government university located in New Delhi, India. It is one of the oldest Engineering Colleges of India & first Engineering College of Delhi. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic and was under the control of the Government of India. The college has been under the government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi since 1963 and was affiliated to the University of Delhi from 1952 to In 2009, the college was given a state university status thus changing its name to Delhi Technological University. 10 All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with choice of four answers, only one being correct choice. Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (1 mark). No marks are awarded for questions not attempted. While the candidate can skip a question, the computer will not allow the candidate to choose more than one option as correct answer. There will be 150 questions in all. Eligibility To be eligible for admission, students are required to obtain a minimum average grade of 75 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (with a minimum grade of 60 percent in each subject) in their higher secondary examination. Dubai Campus Admission to Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Dubai Campus is solely based on scores in the 12 th standard qualifying exam.
