Phone: NOTIFICATION ADMISSIONS TO MD/MS and MDS COURSES in Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur and Mahatma Gandhi Dental College & Hospital, Jaipur It is notified that admissions to PG Medical (MD/MS) and PG Dental (MDS) courses respectively in Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur and Mahatma Gandhi Dental College & Hospital, Jaipur units of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur for the academic year shall be made through the single central counseling to be conducted by the Chairman, NEET PG Medical & Dental Admission/Counseling Board 2018 and Principal & Controller, SMS Medical College and attached Hospitals, Jaipur. All NEET PG 2018 and NEET MDS 2018 qualified & eligible candidates desirous to take admission in PG MD/MS and MDS courses respectively in Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur and Mahatma Gandhi Dental College & Hospital, Jaipur are advised to get themselves registered with the NEET PG Medical & Dental Admission/Counseling Board 2018 constituted by the Government of Rajasthan. A Notification in this regard will soon be issued by Chairman, NEET PG Medical & Dental Admission/Counseling Board 2018 and Principal & Controller, SMS Medical College and attached Hospitals, Jaipur. A candidate who fails to get himself/herself registered with the Rajasthan State PG Medical & Dental Admission/Counseling Board 2018 shall not be eligible to participate in the counseling and therefore shall not be able to get admission in the PG MD/MS or MDS courses for the academic year Seat Matrix MD/MS course Total seats 98 NRI Quota seats 15 (viz. 15% of total seats) As per Hon'ble Supreme Court orders, 15% of total number of available seats of MD/MS courses are earmarked for the category of Foreign National/PIO/ NRI/children or wards of NRI (in short called NRI Quota). In addition, student has to deposit Cash Security/Bank Guarantee of two years of balance course duration fee amounting to USD 1,60,000 (US Dollar one Lac Sixty Thousand) or its equivalent in other currencies or its equivalent in INR from a Nationalized Bank at the time of admission. 2. Caution Money For all subjects USD 4000 (US Dollar Four Thousand) or its equivalent in other currencies or its equivalent in INR at the time of admission. This will be interest free refundable amount on completion of the course. Note : Fee will be deposited by a Demand Draft in the name of Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, payable at Jaipur. At the time of admission in MD/MS course in Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur every candidate will have to undertake that he/she will abide by and strictly follow rules & regulations of the MGUMST and after successful completion of MD/MS course, he/she will do at least one year's compulsory senior residency/tutorship in Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. In case, a student does not join/complete the senior residency/tutorship, he/she shall have to deposit a sum of rupees equal to one year's tuition fee for the said course. A Surety Bond on non judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/- shall be given in this regard by every student at the time of admission as per Annexure 1. Father/Mother/Guardian of the candidate seeking admission on NRI category seat shall have to submit an undertaking on non judicial stamp paper at the time of admission as per Annexure-2. Prospectus of the University for MD/MS and MDS courses for the academic year are available on the University website Students are advised to go carefully through the prospectus of the MGUMST for rules, regulations and other information. The University reserves the right to make changes in the guidelines/fees structure or any other information at any time. The decision of the University shall be binding on all. The jurisdiction of all court cases shall be the Jaipur Bench of Hon'ble Rajasthan High Court only.
