3 KALOJI NARAYANA RAO UNIVERSITY OF HEATLH SCINECES, WARANGAL - TELANGANA STATE PROSPECTUS FOR ADMISSION INTO POST GRADUATE MEDICAL AND DENTAL MANAGEMENT QUOTA SEATS IN UN-AIDED PRIVATE NON MINORITY MEDICAL &DENTALCOLLEGES AND UN-AIDED MINORITY MEDICAL COLLEGES IN THE STATE OF TELANGANA FOR THE YEAR Regulations: The following are the Regulations for admission into Management Quota seats in Post Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma / MDS Courses in all the Un-aided Private Medical / Dental Colleges and Un-aided Minority Medical Colleges affiliated to KNR UHS. Number of seats under management quota: The number of seats available for the academic year in Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma / MDS courses at Private Un Aided Non Minority Medical and Dental colleges and Un-aided Minority Medical Colleges will be in accordance with the orders of the MCI / DCI / GOI / Govt. of Telangana. The data of seats under management quota is given in the Annexure-I appended herewith, for information. Eligibility: The candidates who fulfill the following criteria are eligible for admission into post graduate medical degree / diploma and dental courses, and they have to get their certificates verified as per schedule to be notified by the university. The candidates should secure the following cut-off scores in NEET PG-2017 / NEET MDS conducted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi as per section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act, For PG Medical Degree and Diploma: Category Qualifying Cut off score criteria (out of 1500) Remarks General Candidates scoring equal or more than this category 50% percentile cut off score have been declared as qualified SC / ST/ BC ST / SC / BC Candidates scoring equal or / OBC 40% percentile more than this cut off score have been declared as qualified OC PH Candidates scoring equal or more qualified Persons with disability 45% percentile than this cut off score have been declared as *Lower percentage / percentile of marks for SC/ST/BC/OBC /PH is only for eligibility purpose and will not be applicable for reservations as there are no reservation under Management Quota. 3

4 For PG Dental Courses: Category Qualifying Cut off score criteria (out of 1500) Remarks General Candidates scoring equal or more than 42.50% category percentile this cut off score have been declared as qualified SC / ST/ BC / ST / SC / BC Candidates scoring equal or 32.50% OBC percentile more than this cut off score have been declared as qualified Persons with OC PH Candidates scoring equal or more 37.50% Disability (PH) percentile than this cut off score have been declared as qualified *Lower percentage / percentile of marks for SC/ST/BC/OBC /PH is only for eligibility purpose and will not be applicable for reservations as there are no reservation under management quota. The Candidates from All over India are eligible for Management Quota Sub Category 1. Foreign Students / NRI / NRI sponsored candidates are eligible for Management Quota Sub Category 2. Candidates sponsored by the Managements of Private Un Aided Non Minority Medical / Dental Colleges and Un-aided Minority Medical Colleges having Post Graduate Courses in Telangana State are eligible for Management Quota Sub Category 3. Candidates should have MBBS / BDS Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India / DCI. Candidates should complete internship by in respect of the candidates of Telangana and A.P. and in respect of the candidates from other States. Must have registered with Medical Council (Registration with MCI /DCI/State Medical / Dental Council and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of verification of original certificates). Note: If a candidate is found to have submitted false information or concealed any relevant information regarding this matter, such candidate is liable to be disqualified for admission and in case already admitted, the admission will be cancelled. Further disciplinary action against him/her will be taken by the University/respective institution. Legal issues if any shall be under the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh. 4

5 If the candidate is having a Medical qualification equivalent to MBBS / BDS (Primary Medical / Dental qualification) from outside India, the Degree should have been recognized by Medical Council of India /Dental Council of India for enrolment as Medical Practitioner in the Country. Candidate must have permanent registration with Medical Council of India / DCI or any State Medical Council / Dental Council. Candidates must pay equivalency certificate verification fee as specified in the regulations along with the registration fee. The verification fee and registration fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date. Therefore candidates are advised to check eligibility conditions thoroughly before applying for determining merit. Applications through Online: The on-line application form for determining merit position in respective categories (Sub category 1,2 & 3) for management quota seats using NEET PG 2017 / NEET MDS 2017 scores will be available on the website from AM on upto 4.00 p.m. Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions to fill the application from the website before proceeding to fill the application form. The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required-for, through internet. The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection (home/internet café/net center). The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates ready to enter his/her correct data. Procedure of filling online application and Procedure for online payment: 1. Read the Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully. 2. Keep all the following documents required: (a) NEET PG 2017 / NEET MDS Admit card issued by the NBE (b) NEET PG 2017 / NEET MDS Score card issued by the NBE (c) Date of Birth Certificate. (SSC or its equivalent certificate) (d) Study Certificates from 1 st MBBS to final MBBS / 1st BDS to Final BDS. 5

6 (e) Minority Certificate for Muslims for Minority Medical College seats. (f) Internship Completion certificate. (g) Medical Council / Dental Council of India Registration Certificate. (h) Credit card / Debit card. 3. The fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking. 4. The fee paid by the applicants is not refundable and not adjusted to a future date under any circumstances PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR DETERMINATION OF MERIT POSITION: 1. Open the website Home page displayed as follows. 2. Click on the Candidate Registration. 3. Registration Form appears in which Candidate has to give the details to register.

7 Note: The Not Qualified BC category candidates in NEET PG 2017 conducted by NBE and having the Domicile of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are requested to Enter 0 (zero) (Numeric) in the Neet Rank* column at the above Registration Form for processing online application form. 4. After entering the details click on validate button. 5. If all the details you entered is correct, You will receive the Registration number. Please Note the Registration number for further correspondence. 6. Then enter Testing Id and the Registration number for updating the details of the candidate and click on Validate Button.

8 7. The application form will be displayed as shown below After filling the form, click on Save and Exit Button. This process can be repeated till all the data you entered is correct. Then click on Save and Pay Button to proceed for payment. Depending on your caste category, local area, state and country the Registration fee is varied. Once paid you will not get any refund. Hence, you are requested to double check the eligibility conditions yourself and pay the fee. 10. Now you will be directed to the Payment Gateway click OK

You will get your filled application form take printout of this form and affix a recent passport size photo on the space provided and submit the form at the time of certificate verification.

10 15. Sample of Filled Application Do's and Don'ts Do not use mobiles and tablets to Apply. Use only computers. Do not select or enter false information which can be liable for Criminal Action. Avoid using slow internet facility. Keep your mobile with you while Applying and do not block SMS.

11 The candidate should paste a passport size photograph which is similar to that applied for NEET-PG 2017 / NEET MDS in the space provided in the print out of online application form and submit at the time of original certificates verification. Registration Fee: The registration fee is Rs. 3,500/- (Bank transaction charges extra). Verification Fee for candidates studied outside the State and Abroad: The candidates who acquired their Under Graduate Degree outside the State or Country/Abroad and got their certificates registered with Medical Council of India and applying for admission into Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma/MDS courses under this University, shall pay a verification fee of Rs.7,000/- for Degree certificates acquired Abroad and Rs.3,000/- for the Degrees acquired outside the State. The candidate should sign at the declaration area in the print out of the online application form to be submitted at the time of verification of original certificates. Verification of Original Certificates: The candidate should submit the print-out of the filled - in online application form along with three sets of attested copies of required certificates at the verification center, PGRRCDE, OU Campus, Hyderabad. The candidates shall pay Rs.2,500/- as Processing Fee through Demand Draft in the name of Registrar, KNRUHS, payable at Warangal. Note: The candidature of the applicant will not be considered for admission to PG Degree / Diploma / MDS courses unless the print-out application form along with the requisite enclosures is submitted at the time of verification of original certificates. Custodian certificates are not permitted. Merit Lists: The merit position of the candidates those who applied through online in response to the notification issued by KNRUHS for management quota seats shall be determined as per NEET-PG-2017/ NEET MDS scores and as per their eligibility criteria, applicable regulations, guidelines viz: 12

12 As per PG Medical Regulations of Medical Council of India, the candidates who secure minimum of marks at 50 th percentile (40 th percentile for SC/ST/BC candidates and 45 th percentile for Differently abled candidates) in NEET PG 2017/ NEET MDS As per PG Dental Regulations of Dental Council of India, the candidates who secure minimum of marks at percentile (32.50 percentile for SC/ST/BC candidates and percentile for Differently abled candidates) in NEET PG 2017/ NEET MDS The University will release final merit position of eligible candidates on website to attend verification of original certificates and seat allotment at PGRRCDE, OU Campus, Hyderabad as specified dates. Management Quota Seats (as per G.O.Ms.No.40, 42, HM&FW (C1) Dept., dated: : 50% of seats in each speciality in each college are management quota seats. The Management Quota Seats are categorized into Management Quota (a) Sub Category 1. 25%, Management Quota (b) Sub Category 2. 15% NRI quota (NRI/NRI Sponsored) (c)management Quota Sub Category 3 Institutional Preference Quota 10%. For Management Quota Sub Category 1 25%, candidates from all the states and union territories of India are eligible. For Management Quota Sub Category 2 15%, NRI candidates and NRI sponsored candidates are eligible. For Management Quota Sub Category 3 10%, candidates sponsored by the Management s of the Private Un Aided Non Minority Medical / Dental Colleges and Private Un-aided Minority Medical Colleges having Post Graduate Course in the State of Telangana. THERE ARE NO RESERVATIONS FOR SC / ST, BC / OBC IN ALL THE CATEGORIES OF THE MANAGEMENT QUOTA SEATS. THERE ARE NO OTHER RESERVATIONS. MINORITY MEDICAL COLLEGES SEATS WILL BE FILLED WITH MINORITY CATEGORY CANDIDATES ONLY. IN CASE, MINORITY CANDIDATES ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO TAKE THE SEATS, THEY WILL BE ALLOTTED TO NON- MINORITY STUDENTS IN THE LAST PHASE OF COUNSELING. UNIVERSITY FEE: a) All the selected candidates shall pay the Non Refundable University Fee as detailed below in the form of DD in favour of Registrar, KNRUHS, payable at Warangal on the date of counseling as specified. 1) PG Medical Courses : Rs.45,600/- 2) MDS Course : Rs.45,600/- Tuition Fee (as per G.O.Ms.No.41, 43, HM&FW (C1) Dept., dated: Note: The tuition fee for Non-Minority Private Medical Colleges & Dental Colleges is in accordance with Hon'ble High Court interim directions in PIL (WP) No. 130 of 2017, Dated: PG Medical Courses: b) Tuition Fee for management quota seats (Sub-Category 1):All Broad specialties: 13

Note: The course wise / college wise fee for Sub Category 2 & 3 will be displayed in the website and before counseling. PG Dental Courses: d) Tuition Fee for management quota seats (Sub-Category 1): All Broad specialties: a. Para-Clinical Degree Courses - Rs.7,00,000/ per annum b. Clinical Degree Courses - Rs.10,00,000/ per annum e) Tuition Fee for management quota seats (Sub-Category 2& 3):All Broad specialties: a. Para-Clinical Degree Courses - Rs.8,00,000/ per annum b. Clinical Degree Courses - Rs.15,00,000/per annum Note: Para Clinical Degrees includes Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine & Radiology All the selected candidates shall submit Bank Guarantee to the respective college for Tuition Fee chargeable for the remaining period of the course. The candidates selected into MD / MS / Diploma shall work for one year as Senior Resident in the Institution where they pursued the course. The selected candidates will be paid Rs.30,000/- per month for medical Rs. 25,000/- per month for dental courses. Copy of Provisional or Original Degree Certificate. 8. Copy of MBBS / BDS study certificate. 9. Minority Category Certificate for MUSLIM Candidates only, if applicable. 10.
